What kind of changes do we need to make in ourselves to make the world a better place?

If 'we change ourselves, we change the world'. According to Gandhi, we must BE the change that we wish to see in the world.

What change must we be to make a better world?

What is it about ourselves that we can change that will make the biggest impact on our outer world? I'm looking for direction in how to start implementing inner changes and specifics on the changes to be made themselves. I'm curious as to how this process works as well. What is it in ourselves that we change that could make the world a better place? And how does this process work?

I believe that we all share similarities in our beliefs as to what we all want to see change to help humanity. How can we get from here to there?

I would like to know the change we need to be to change the world.

You never see "The World" as it is.

You only ever see "The World" through your filtered vision of it, through the lens of your own beliefs.

By "Better Place", people mean a place that makes them Feel Good when they look at it.

Therefore, to reach your "Better Place", all you have to do is find more and more reasons to Feel Good every day and the lens of belief through which you look at the world will become more and more of a feeling-good one...

...until eventually you reach the place where the realization comes that we are already living in the best of all possible worlds :)

I would agree with stingray....

I will also add that it's a matter of what you tell yourself on a consistent basis. When ever you say or think something it's like planting an intention that you put out into the universe and you water it with your attention.

Think of it as a seed where even if you don't see results right away it can only grow with time and attention. There's no way that a desire that you launch can not come to you. It will always reach you no matter what.

You just have to tell yourself the right things.

Words are energy.

If you allow your intentions to grow then they will.

"Where ever the mind goes the body will follow"

In other words: "What you tell yourself and think about is what you'll experience and is what you'll be guided towards through the power of allowing"

The key for me is to simply believe in myself and trust my own path.

Find more ways to feel good even if it means simply planting the seeds of positive intention.

I've experienced both positive and negative things in my reality within as little as 2 hours based on what I would tell my self.
