I know it sound way out there, but upon reflection i find that the characters in shows we are both attracted to become examples of the anime/anima for which we are potentialities for eachother.

its hard to look at the "worst" of each of us.

It is your soul's way of allowing you to confront what you must, in a way that you are able to deal with.

I'm sure that you, by your own desire, launched this "effect" into your perception within reality, because you felt ready to confront and change yourself.

So this "effect" is letting you discover what it is that you must change.

i avoid thinking of his possible dark side for fear that it may manifest.

As for yourself, that's a good way to put it. This adjustment towards a better version of you will attract the knowledge and means by which you must then take physical action for the actual change to take effect. It is not as magical as you may think. It is what you and everyone else have always done, but there was no understanding of this nature of our own minds in wide availability until now. As for your fear, fear is an attractive force. Once you have the fear you can't avoid the thought. Look upon fear as a choice of attraction. But in addition, you and he must WORK at eliminating it.

I was going to ask a similar question. Sometimes if I am thinking about a certain thing, I will watch TV not long after, maybe even the same day but usually a few days after, and the thing I was thinking about will be mentioned.

I'll give you an example:

I don't know if anyone is aware of the TV show Shameless on channel 4 in the UK, but the new series started last night. A few days ago I was thinking about something that I have ofter pondered even since I was a kid, but I hadn't thought about it for a while: imagine if I was the only person or thing that existed in the world and everyone else was just a part of my experience. In other words, they were not real, they were just characters put there for me to interact with, or maybe there are other people in the world but they were having the exact same experience as me, ie. they had the same name as me, looked just like me, were doing the exact same thing as I was at the exact same time. In other words my life was the only thing that existed in the universe and billions of people were living it.

The very first scene showed Frank Gallagher stood outside his local pub while his voice narrated, basically asking the same thing: what if everyone and everything in your world was just a figment of your imagaination?

Also I have noticed that when I think of a certain episode of a TV show, any TV show, I will see the exact same episode within a week guaranteed, even if I haven't seen that particular episode for years. It makes me wonder if I have willed that episode into existence or if I have some (quite useless) pyschic ability.
