On InwardQuest we ask questions about a lot of subjects and issues. and I think we have done well in avoiding the trolls of the Internet but there are certain religions and factions of religions that are very protective.

I remember there was a question from a person that had to do with a cult/ religion that she never named. She had boyfriend problems and his families involvement in the cult.

Is it best we do not wake sleeping bears?

I personally don't care what religion people choose as long as it isn't forced down my throat.

Good on you Barry! We are fortunate to have an administrator like you who works tirelessly behind the scenes without recognition & posses such a noble character. Thank you for your efforts.

Thank you, Traveller. That's nice of you to say so.

If Ursixx edits it just a bit, it will display, "Ursixx" right?

(10 May '11, 15:04) Fairy Princess

Yes, if Ursixx makes some edits then that should be sufficient to credit the question properly

Nope,it wouldnt bother me a bit.

In fact the irritating question threads are the sometimes ones which often reveal so much about the asker, answerer and commentators.

The most contentious threads often also reveal some decent source material which we can then go off and study at our leisure.

I get far more pissed off when people post stuff thats from another source "WITHOUT NAMING THAT SOURCE"

This stops the general populace of the site benefitting first hand from that material.

Thankfully Barry your usually pretty quick in identifiying this. And we thank you for that.

There have been three authors who ive gotten a chance to study on this site, there not on Psi Tek and im very gratefull for those who have shared their sources with me.

For the record these are Esther Hicks,Neville Goddard and Eckhart Tolle.

Gone of topic a bit here....sorry

I have never really found any questions or questioner irritating. I love a good dialog! And I agree with you about the source with no name. Unless the information is more in the way of a leak and naming would put the individual in harms way.

(10 May '11, 17:43) ursixx

Absolutely not. Me irritating another with my question isn't about me. The issue lies with the one being irritated unless the intention of the questioner is to irritate.

was thinking more along the lines of a group more than a person. A group that would respond in inappropriate ways. That might not want to have a dialog and a question that might not irritating to you or me.

A person can be expressing a question with the best of intentions, and yet another person can read in negativity into the question unknown to the author. So, my answer is to do the best you can do, and be yourself, and if your question irritates anyone, then it is up to that person to reveal their concerns to you. One thing we all need to keep in mind is the fact that the person asking the question is only asking the question, and it may very well differs to their own values, and beliefs. I believe that the questions asked here are for educational reasons, and they are not subjected to any one person in particular!

well ursixx i am cautious about asking people question that they would not like to be ask. but the way they deal with it is their problem not mine. but yes some will probebly think he should not have ask that question it started all this. the all this comes from them not from me. why judge me on something that bothers them? if it bothers them it comes from them. but that they often do not want to see . experience and enjoy.

Thanks white tiger my question was pointed more towards asking questions here on IQ that would upset certain cults that have an aggressive stance in defending themselves. Rather than on a personal level and I appreciate you taking the time and effort to answer :D

well ursixx a group or anny other name for people grouping up is made from individual. some are leader and some are sheeps but the leader and the sheeps all have free will and responsibility.
