Many times in life people test our patience as well as we test others patience. We can get upset we are not being understood, it could seem like someone is even having fun making us upset even but, look at it this way. Is it really God saying "Do you really want to be awake, do you really want to be advanced spiritually?"
He, meaning God, is giving us the chance to show us where we need to work on patience, understanding, compassion, consideration, caring, peacemaking, slowness to anger, quickness to listen, and getting along. If we are to really be spiritually awake we need have these qualities and exercise them. Am I treating others with the same compassion as I would like to be treated by them?
Are we being tested right now and if so, are we passing the test?
Not many seem to be getting this is about self reflection not about others, if this turns into gossip or bad mouthing any member I will delete it! It sadly seems many are missing the whole point and thus are not willing to look at their selves.
You are quite right, Wade, and I had not thought of it in that way, but I'm glad that you have given me some food for thought. I am being tested! I have at times been impatient, too quick to draw conclusions, dismissive and judgmental. I knew this on some level but wasn't paying much attention to it. Not nice on my part.
Ok... I am totally confused here. The only thing I think you could be referring to is the interaction with white tiger.
If that's the case do you guys really see that as a test?
Honestly, I think white tiger is being perfectly authentic... he's just being who he is right now and if we're not aware enough not to take that personal, then I'd say we're the ones with the problem not him.

Psalm 37:7-9 Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.
Romans 15:4-5 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 13:4–8a Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Colossians 3:12-13 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
James 1:19-20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
James 5:7-8 Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Mark 4:24 "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you--and even more.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Psalm 139:4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
Proverbs 5:21 For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths.
Jeremiah 16:17 My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.
Jeremiah 23:24 Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 29:23 For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives and in my name have spoken lies, which I did not tell them to do. I know it and am a witness to it," declares the LORD.
Daniel 2:22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
Matthew 6:4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Matthew 4:7 Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe', a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." Einstein
"The measure of love is to love without measure." Saint Augustine

As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we must all be aware of changes in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness" Justice William O. Douglas

Silence is the Mother of Truth, for the silent man was ever to be trusted, while the man ever ready with speech was never taken seriously." Chief Luther Standing Bear, (Teton Sioux)
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway." Mother Theresa

You know what, Wade? You are right!
And I am flunking this test royally!!!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. From this point onward, I will not judge or comment negatively.
I also feel strongly that my personal test has been to not engage this person, and I have! Oops.
Thank you so much. As usual, you are proving yourself to be a person of gentle, but strong Spirituality! Reminds me of someone I would like to emulate...He died on a Cross....
Love you, Jai

I have to say that I'm not personally comfortable with the underlying assumption behind this "question".
The implication is that the person in question is somehow wrong - and that "we", the right ones, have to adjust ourselves in some way to tolerate him...to cope with the "test".
Sorry, that philosophy doesn't work for me. I don't see people that way.
We're all unique, individual expressions of "All That Is" and all those expressions are to be welcomed in their diversity.
There are no tests - just different facets of The One.

Isn't this the point where being non-judgmental comes into play. I find if I refuse/observe the instant judgements that the ego deals out. That no one gets under my skin . Quite the opposite that I find myself laughing. Not at but for myself.

Thank you for asking a great question about self reflection, how we behave, how we treat others, the affects we have on each other, and the lasting impression of our awakening and spiritual foundation in life.
This is indeed bigger than us in every way since many of us feels a sense of entitlement, more so than others, and it has falsified our conception of treating others the way we would like to be treated, and indeed, if I may say,” we are all guilty of this act.” And of course, self reflection is a good cleansing therapy for the body, mind, and spirit!

I was not engaging them until they asked. I thought they wanted to know so they could grow, but I got baited. Any childish behavior is simply in jest and to illustrate the childishness. I will go back to not engaging. I will be honest, I was disappointed that it got so far.
I do hope that if anybody misunderstands ME, they ask for clarification. I don't mind explaining and would rather explain than have people believe the wrong idea. Blessings to you all.

The only people that "test" us are the people we have given permission to.
Others are just a reflection of the self
