Hi, I've been listening to Abraham-Hicks for a couple months now and following their online stuff. I've been thinking the positive thoughts and feeling the good feelings but somehow I'm not able to manifest the finances I'm looking for. My basic salary is just about enough to get me through and I've found the appreciating place in that too but what next???

"but somehow I'm not able to manifest the finances I'm looking for"

Does this sound like appreciation to you? Does this sound like focusing on what you want, rather than on what you don't want? Does this sound like allowing or resistance?

Are you really appreciating to feel good and enjoy the feeling, while letting go of the outcome, or are you "appreciating" in order to get something and are dependant on the result?

Does it sound like your vibration is high regarding your salary, or perhaps that you are in a place of doubt, worry and frustration?

You already asked the universe and it has created your desires. Now you have to let go and let God. Trust your source to do it's job and provide.

I think you hit a spot there, I didn't realise it but you opened it up for me - I'm going to work on this!!!

Personally, I think manifesting finances generally like that, is like shooting in the dark. Start with something you would like to have, but don't need. Then decide that it's yours and trust that it is. Believe it, know it. Then, do your part in making it happen. For example, I wanted a particular size and type of tv for a certain price. I went to the local stores and looked around and asked questions, and they laughed at me when I told them what I expected to find. I didn't let them stop me, I was more determined and soon, I did find exactly what I was looking for. The same thing happened when I was looking for my car. I told the salespeople what I wanted and how much I planned to pay, and they laughed at me, but soon, I found it. These things didn't just appear on my doorstep, I had to go shopping for and buy what I wanted, but I found the deal I wanted.

One time when I was taking a college class and the teacher suggested a certain book. I was not planning on buying it, but I went home and moved my bookshelf and to do that, I had to take everything off. I found the exact book the teacher said to get. I didn't even know I had it, someone had left it to me with some stuff when they moved away.
