Some of you have been asking for a "live chat" feature for Inward Quest for some time now.

This is now available:

There is also a link to iq chat at the top of each website page.

At the moment, you can consider it to be an experimental idea. Whether it remains as a permanent part of Inward Quest depends on how much it is used and whether people find it a valuable addon feature of the website.

You do not need to be a registered user of Inward Quest to use the live chat, it is open to everyone, but there is currently a limit of 25 users at any one time.

The "live chat" is not monitored or moderated so use it at your own risk. I may pop in anonymously from time to time to see how things are going but it's unlikely I'll be taking part in any chatting. So it's up to you how you use it and what you use it for. You might like to organize specific times to get together for discussing various topics (we won't mind if you use Community Wiki Announcements for this) or you may just want to wait there and see who turns up.

When joining the chat, you will have to choose a username. If you use the same username as you are using on Inward Quest, it will make it easier for others to recognize you. Just a suggestion.

Hope you find the "live chat" to be a useful addition to Inward Quest.

Here's the chat address again:

I just tried this, I have some advice for getting on though. When you go to log in you will see some random letters and numbers, do not press enter like I did. If you do, your on line name will be those numbers and letters! Now the good news, I logged out and logged back in and erased the random numbers and letters and instead entered my name before pressing enter and then had my right name there.
