Many Abraham listeners will have heard them talk about "the grid" but recently I have read several mentions of the planetary crystalline grid. How do the two relate to each other - is the Abraham grid really our way of connecting to the planetary crystalline grid or is the Abraham grid just our own personal grid and separate from the planetary grid?

I am quite new to the idea of a planetary grid so any information would be appreciated. I am gradually (thank you google) getting up to speed with it but had never heard the term until a few weeks ago.

Unless Abraham have made some drastic changes to their teachings in the past few months (I'm still catching up with a backlog of recordings), the only commonality I know of is the usage of the word "Grid".

So I'm saying, in a roundabout way, that there is no connection that I know of.

"Abraham Grid" is another in an endless series of techniques/analogies from Abraham to help human beings get to grips with the alignment of physical self and broader self. The popular term (on IQ, at least) of The Vortex was an earlier analogy from them.

On the other hand, the Earth Energy Grid is an idea (not accepted by mainstream science) that there are physical energy vortices scattered around the planet, often marked by ancient monuments.

The Earth's energy grid can be thought of as a web that holds or links the Earth together. The energy grid is effected by many influences - electricity, magnetism, light, color, heat, sound and matter.

The planetary energy grid operates through certain geometrical patterns that follow a specific symmetry. The grids meet at various intersecting points forming a kind of matrix. This is equivalent to the acupressure points on our bodies. These grid points can be found at some of the strongest power places on the planet.

From biogeometry.org

Bashar has also spoken of these physical energy vortices in a seminar called Vortex Vibrations. Just to add to the confusion, the term "Vortex" used there is nothing to do with Abraham's Vortex analogy :)

There is a snippet from the Vortex Vibrations seminar here:

One interesting thing I remember from listening to the seminar (not sure if it is mentioned in the above snippets) is that the famous Area 51 military base in the USA lies exactly (and deliberately) on a line connecting two major energy vortices.

@Stingray Thank you - the video links didn't work for me but the websites are amazing. The biogeometry one will need more time to absorb but looks fascinating. The Area 51 thing scares me a little bit. Recently I found myself attracting information on conspiracy theories and I didn't like how it made me feel so stopped looking.

@Stingray Is the grid you refer to one that has only recently been put back together so to speak in time for the new age. I think I saw it referred to as the Christ consciousness grid which means we can move up to the next density?

@Catherine - "the video links didn't work for me" - you probably have javascript disabled in your web browser. You can just copy the underlying links and paste them into a new tab/window. I wouldn't delve too far into the conspiracy theories if it makes you feel bad. I've been following them for probably 20+ years now (as a hobby only, not as an advocate) and there is plenty of information out there to cause you sleepless nights if you get drawn too deeply into it :)

@Catherine - I don't know about any deliberate reassembling of the Earth grid. But as the vibrational levels of this planet increase anyway, we become more of a vibrational match (again) to the technologies and information we left behind before the descension process started, so we can re-access that stuff again as we reascend

@Stingray I find it comforting to know that you have looked at these conspiracy theories and haven't bought into them.

(05 Sep '12, 17:02) Catherine

@Catherine - "...haven't bought into them" - Without wishing to cause you discomfort, I actually think there's plenty of "truth" to many of them...that's why I follow them :) - but by watching "from a distance" in a dispassionate way, I can observe those realities (and gain some interesting alternative perspectives) without making the results of those observations part of my own reality. Then again, LOA will make anything "true" for you if you focus on it long enough with emotion :)

@Stingray- and, aren't the Egyptian Pyramids somewhere aligned on these energy vortexes? Maybe I heard something wrong, but I do recall Bashar stating some significance about them.

(05 Sep '12, 19:21) Nikulas

@Stingray doh! I keep forgetting about multiple realities. Are you saying that you use them as contrast to chose something else - chose another reality.

(06 Sep '12, 02:07) Catherine

@Nikulas - "Egyptian Pyramids somewhere aligned on these energy vortexes?" - Possibly, I'm not really too knowledgeable in that area. I've heard all sorts of theories about the pyramids over the years and still don't really know what to believe :) Do you know which recording Bashar mentioned them on?

@Catherine - "Are you saying that you use them as contrast to chose something else - chose another reality" - Isn't that ultimately what physical life is about anyway? ...the (illusionary) limitations of the physical platform cause us to experience contrast which forces us to focus in a different way and thereby "choose" other realities that we prefer instead?
