Don't think you will have to worry about that one in the long run...... They will get there kick in the "butt".... Seen it time and again.. just in Gods time.

(23 Apr '13, 16:39) Dragonflybreeze

If LOA is true, then the girls attract guys to treat them badly. So why would you want to punish the guys, when its the girls who caused their whatever misery themselves.

(23 Apr '13, 19:54) CalonLan

I can guarantee you that the LOA is not exactly accurate.... for a Fact! ;) and Why do they have the right to be... well,... there are some words for it... Why would you justify their very poor behavior and blame it on her.. That is simply adding injury again to a wound.

(23 Apr '13, 20:35) Dragonflybreeze

Then that would justify her in treating men however she wanted and using and/or hurting him and them simply say .... it is just the way it is??? C'mon..

(23 Apr '13, 20:36) Dragonflybreeze

I don't really need to venture into creating judgements and justifications of anything, trying to find what's right and moral.

It's simple, if you don't like how people treat you, don't see them again, duh.

(24 Apr '13, 01:34) CalonLan

Can you define the evil act in question?

(24 Apr '13, 02:36) flowsurfer

Calonlan, I agree.... That is the best solution. I have taken that approach innumerably.. Can honestly state that I have dated over 100's in order to find the "right one".... I steer away from dating or having anything to do with them except for the necessities of maybe going to the grocery store, basic interaction, etc.

(24 Apr '13, 14:49) Dragonflybreeze

I am also referring to the larger scale of a society that portrays females as less and with less rights than a male. This only teaches the male (not all, I have met decent men as well), that it is alright to treat a female or a child as an object rather than a respectable member of our culture and society. Also, I have the right as anyone should to be treated with respect and dignity and to flourish as a being.

(24 Apr '13, 14:49) Dragonflybreeze

Also, what about the children that are molested or even worse.... They were'nt "dating" them. They were PURE victims. What about the date rape drugs out there that all too many are putting in something that a female digests and is rendered pretty helpless. Without knowing the individual.... That is a Serious problem.

(24 Apr '13, 14:49) Dragonflybreeze

@Dragonflybreeze, there's a lot of bs in this world. Man hunting mammoths and girls cooking in cave, is the very fundamental one of them. I bet there were girl who'd like to hunt mammoths and guys who'd like to cook.

The best thing I've learned is to forget everything. The best belief I discovered is to believe nothing.

If you ever do the same, you will see what a strange place this world is.

(25 Apr '13, 04:02) CalonLan

Agree on how strange it can be... lol!!! ;)

Karmas very misunderstood, particularly by those with an evangelical christian bent, in fact by many with a " religious" mind set.

You do get what you sow, but you get what you sow into your consciousness.

If God were going about punishing people for their misdeeds then there wouldnt be anything left on this earth but charred remains.

Its a false concept, its blatently not true and its spread by people who are misguided and mistaught. Unfortunately this crap is passed on from one misguided generation to the next.

There seems to be some who almost relish the thought of god finally getting his own back when the culprits leave this earth.

This relish is the product of an uneducated and often sick mind.

Forget Karma, its bollocks!

Monty, don't forget subconscious as well, for without sub conscious, most our everyday actions would not be able to be performed....

(23 Apr '13, 18:14) Dragonflybreeze

Monty , is not "karma " just LOA , lol , what you emit comes back ?

(23 Apr '13, 19:44) Starlight

Good points raised, yes im sold on the sub conscious thing, i see it as being integral to consciousness as a whole, and i get the LOA thing too.

@Monty Rivera - "If God were going about punishing people for their misdeeds then there wouldnt be anything left on this earth but charred remains." - Great answer!

(24 Apr '13, 10:10) lozenge123

Agree, Karma is an illusion, a trick of the mind and ego. It only exists in the minds of those who believe it to be. Also a God does not punish, we punish ourselves, by holding onto memories of the past. Realize that what is being attracted into ones experience is there to practice a part of the self that needs to either be realized, accepted and released. That's it. Forgiveness is the key. I say this from experience. Eventually as I have experienced one will become more peaceful with practice.

God doesn't work that way. He does not interfere with anything,. It is you that drives your existence. And I do not mean to be rude, but the fact is that you are creating all of these existences. We have to see this. No one can hurt you IF you truly love yourself. It is hard, These two videos that I hope can help you. Please, do not see these as judgments. Only my love for you trying to help.

to add to this, seth-roberts idea added to this

One portion of All That Is, is instantly aware, for example of your most insignificant and significant problems -- of yours and yours alone. This portion of overall consciousness is the portion that is individualized within you.

Now there is even something like the idea of a personality god but hardly in the terms used by theologians. The personality of God, as it is generally conceived is again a one-dimensional concept based upon man's small knowledge of his own psychology.

Many of the old ideas of precivilization come closer to anything near the truth. What you prefer to think of as God is basically and above all, indeed as I have said, an infinite energy gestalt or pyramid consciousness. It is aware of itself as being, for example, you, Joseph. It is aware of itself as what seems to you as your own future and past selves.

It is aware of itself as the smallest seed, both those that grow and those that do not grow. The personality of this gestalt is beyond comprehension at this point. It is both demanding and compassionate. The word, justice, is a human one, always implying punishment. And it has nothing to do with the God concept.

"The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceeding fine". There is truth in this. Often we proclaim that justice has been done when a person suffers Physically, Financially etc etc. We ignore the mental state of mind.

People who use others and trample over them and move ahead, they are never at peace with themselves.

Like a slow but sure flame, God makes sure that they burn a little everyday. It is all in mind. So you could see a guy driving a Ferrari and living life king size, but internally the suffering he is going through, that you can never see.

And not only that. The children of such people also pay the price in terms of a messed up childhood. And going out in the world with wrong morals.

And nothing is more gut wrenching than to see your own kids living a life of a wretch. When one asks himself why this happened, then maybe god will tell him that it is because of the pain he/she caused to someone innocent many many years ago.

There is really no bad luck. Its all a part of God's justice. And BTW let us not single out men. Women are also equally mean.

Whenever you interact with anyone, please be nice. That is the best prayer to God.

Law of attraction states simply "like attracts like." The reality here is we attract into our experience what is vibrating in our experience. Babies, infants & children enter with their own vibrational energy into this world based on the soul work they want to do in relationship to God. That means that there are experiences you will have that really have nothing to do with human life being cruel to you. Your soul is here to learn, to perfect itself. Jesus came as an example of this. He taught that original sin and conditional love are within the mind/ego and forgiveness as well as unconditional love are in the heart. Guess where God awaits you. Exactly where your Soul Image is imprinted, in your heart. Therefore it will always be there that you find God and your unlimited capacity to forgive, accept, love and let go. We all have work to do. We are all asleep in some way to our misdeeds. We all have the capacity to be sinful(low vibrational thoughts/judgments/deeds/behavioral patterns/etc) as some of you would put it. The truth is God & Jesus know exactly what is within you right now that can evolve. In order for peace to come to you and this planet, we all need to be open to fact that we contribute energetically to everything that is happening. To hold someone to the cross, is to keep yourself nailed there to, not what Jesus wanted. For every whip and slash and nail in his flesh, he forgave each...

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34

As you each awaken, you will remember why everything is happening as it is. Yes all that is happening around us is at times unnerving, shocking and seemingly unforgivable, just know though that every soul involved here agreed to be here to create in this experience. You are Spirit living a human experience, not the other way around. Be well, be in peace, practice forgiving yourself and others. The world will continue to improve as a result.

Hi supergirl

"Many men hurt girls just to have fun, yet they still seem happy. Why doesn't god punish them for this evil act"

... the flip side to this question is

"many girls allow themselves to be hurt by men for fun, why doesn't god punish them for this evil act?"

In other words "why did i attract this situation into my life" and "why doesn't god punish?"

The answer is that the universe is very simple and very obedient;

I attract into my life whatever i give my attention, energy or focus to ... right "now" and at every moment, our moods and feelings cause us to send out vibrations and there are only two sorts of vibrations, negative and positive

I am Christian, and what you reap, you sow. Therefore, Karma is as applicable to Christians as it is to any other religion. Just because Christ preaches "forgiveness' does not mean that God does not see and will not make the wrong-doer responsible for his acts.

In truth, crimes against women worldwide mostly go unreported and unpunished. Especially in the Middle East, women are subject to men, and have very few freedoms and must obey all sorts of out-moded laws. I saw film footage of an adulteress who was put to death because of her crime. This is way too severe. What happens when a man strays? We do not hear about that.

Christianity is not about "peace and flowers", It has teeth. "He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword." Christ was no coward. He stood up for what He believed in, and He was put to death because He stirred up the status quo. He threw out the money changers in the temple- he was furious that they desecrated the house of God.

Men who do bad things to girls ought to have the same things done to them...in jail. Especially men who misuse little girls. These are despicable men, and believe me, God is watching. he is preparing to bring this world to a close as we speak.

I cannot explain why men do bad things. I think it is in how they are raised. They no longer revere women. Women are just play toys to them. But trust me, God is seeing all this, and will make them pay.

In sisterhood,

At 5 years old I had an experience that Never should have transpired. Period.... The guy was a rotten predator. There was NO law of attraction.... simply a messed up man, taking advantage of a little girl. That IS a crime.

(23 Apr '13, 23:54) Dragonflybreeze

"he is preparing to bring this world to a close as we speak" Jai, who is feeding you this false information? Have you really taken on anything that people have been trying to teach you on this site? Do you really believe the crap youve been mistaught at bible college. Jai, you know deep down that this is rubbish. Please stop clinging to this rubbish, its meesing up your head and life.Imsaying this for your sake.

(24 Apr '13, 03:20) Monty Riviera

@Monty, why are you then clinging to the false information that he is not preparing to bring this world to a close?

It's always one clinging on a ledge trying to tell someone else clinging on another ledge, they are clinging on the wrong ledge.

What an amusement park this world.

(24 Apr '13, 05:12) CalonLan

Fair question CalonLan...and heres my answer.

If the fact that the thought of many nasty men taking advantage of women was making god decide to bring this world to a close....then why in the name of all thats rational didnt he decide this when...Hitler massacred 50 million souls, Pol Pot spanked another 2 or 3 million , and Joseph Stalin did away with another 50 million or so. What is this perverted messed up god waiting for CalonLan?

(24 Apr '13, 18:15) Monty Riviera

@Monty, my question wasn't meant to bring us deeper into the maze of delusions we lose ourselves in using our minds. But to merely point out that whatever I think is never right, just as whatever you think can never be right. So none of what we think is ever right.

It amusing then to watch two people discuss anything. Each of them thinking that whatever they're thinking is right. Lose the concept of god and most of what has been discussed here till now will become absurd.=)

(25 Apr '13, 03:57) CalonLan

Thank you for putting a little dash of Ferrel on this topic ;D

How I sometimes see this issue is that for all we know, this is the latter part of 'what you reap, you sow' playing out. As in, the 'girl' at some point in past did such and so, and 'man' was on receiving end of that. Flash forward to scene where man is observed as hurting girl, and we think in our wonderfully limited perspective that this is first time 'girl' has been subjected to such torment, and that guy is gonna have to pay off that debt. Yet, what if it is the debt being paid off from before? And that our objective as observer is to practice forgiveness, not compound the error via limited awareness and pretend like girl is wholly innocent and guy is wholly guilty. Pretend like both are wholly innocent and that the party perceiving guilt (the observer) is one that is plausibly affecting own karma, by insisting this right here deserves punishment, and not forgiveness.
