Last week, I distinctly dreamt of seeing the number 333 which appeared very large, in red. I looked it up online and there were all kinds of theories about what it means - some were good, some were bad.

Not sure if this is related but I recently started listening to binaural beats, and began to have more vivid dreams.

Has anyone here had a similar experience, or have any theories to this number symbolism?

Hi all, thanks for your responses. Just an update - I didn't experience this for a while, but recently it came back and I've been seeing 111 and 444 several times on the clock. I'm going to take the positive interpretation that I've read about i.e. it means all is well and angels are watching over me... :D I don't really want to think about the scarier interpretations. Heheh.

The meaning is specific to you.

It might be the room number of a hotel, part of an address, or a time, somewhere in your experience. It might be symbolic of some belief that you have.

But since it is specific to you, there is no system of numerology that will tell you what it means (unless, of course, you have studied some numerology system where you believe that number is significant).

Is there something significant happening in your life now, if so how does these numbers represent you? Take some time to reflect on your present situation, and the answer will come clear to you.

333 is the number of Choronzon (of Qabalistic lore) who guards the abyss. One must have the necessary papers in order (or disorder) if one is to cross the abyss. In other words, one must be ready to lay it all on the line, lose it all, get chewed up and spit back out, hopefully headed in the same direction (towards divinity, unity, deity, etc.).

Joseph Campbell had this to say about the abyss, “It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life. Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.”

Hopefully this cues something that only you know ;)

Thanks Hu Ra. How strange that you reply this now - I hadn't experienced this for 2-3 months and yet in the last 2 days, this phenomenon resurfaced. I have been seeing 111 and 444 on the clocks frequently (not 333 though). And suddenly this thread is alive again. :D Interesting...

(02 Dec '10, 11:50) Pat W

Very! Especially considering the different 'meanings' behind the new numbers. Onwards!

(09 Dec '10, 00:44) Hu Ra

BTW... 4 is the number before the abyss and 1 is the 'goal'. Qabalistically speaking.

This reminds me of a time when I was dreaming about a particular time in my past. I would be dreaming about the experiences and all of a sudden the word LLYAN would pop into my vision is large letters and in black and white. It stopped after a while but I never knew where it came from or what it meant! I still dont but it stopped when my bad dreams cleared up. xx

I've been seeing number sequences for well over a year now, 000, through 999, we get to choose our own interpretations of them, for myself they are shown to me to keep me on track at a vibrational level, they also remind me when to make adjustments on my alignment. I believe seeing number sequences is a great way to communicate with our guides, who are there to help and support us moving towards what we want, but we must ask for their assistance and then the number sequences will begin to present themselves.

Each number sequence I see carries a certain vibration and meaning that I choose it to be, for example, my interpretation of 333 depends on what my vibration is the moment I see the numbers, if I'm off on my alignment, the numbers are shown to remind me to find balance, [333, balance of body, mind, spirit,] and when I'm blissful the numbers 333 are shown to me to remind me my body, mind, and spirit are in alignment.

Sometimes the number sequence 3333 is shown to me and although I'm not sure of it's meaning, it seems to appear when I'm in a positive much higher aligned state. Seeing these number sequences is now a part of my everyday life and my communication and assistance with the unseen has continued to grow and has helped to keep me aligned. Number sequences can mean different things to different people, we get to choose what they mean to us, and as they are shown, we understanding their meaning.

I have seen the numbers 8888 in my dreams and their meaning for me is coming abundance, and in my experience my numbers also correlate with the things I'm manifesting into my physical reality. Sorry this answer is so long but summing it up, seeing number sequences has helped me tremendously, fine tuning my alignment and manifesting what I want, and if you are seeing them more frequently, it's a good thing, help is being offered to you.
