So, I have recently watched a YouTube video:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw8dKOZqoFw

In this video they discussed quantum mechanics in which an experiment was conducted. They had a machine that would shoot out electrons on one side of the room. And they had a board set up on the other side of the room that would mark where the electrons would land. In the middle they had a board with one slit that the electrons would go through. When the electrons went through the board with one slit, they went straight through the slit, stayed in solid form and made a pattern on the board of two parallel lines.

Then they changed the board in the middle with one that had two slits instead of one. When they did this, the electrons changed from being one single electron into a wave, and made a pattern on the board of many different parallel lines filling up the whole board. At first, they thought that the electrons must be colliding with each other, so they started shooting the electrons out one at a time. When they checked the board a couple hours later, the same pattern emerged. Stumped, they did the same experiment again but this time they stayed in the room and watched the electrons. Amazingly, when the electrons were being observed, they did not change into a wave, it stayed as a single electron and went through either one slit or the other and formed the double parallel line on the back board.

So what they figured out was that when it was not being observed it formed a wave as it went through the double slit and when it landed on the back board it was actually the same electron in multiple places on the board. Sometimes it could be in just two places at the same time and other times it would be in up to 3000 places at the same time. The only time it stayed as one electron, went through only one slit, and landed into one spot was when it was being observed and mind and thought entered the equation.

So if this is happening on a micro level then it can only be assumed that this same behavior happens on a macro level also. When we have a choice to do one thing or another, are we actually creating an alternate reality with every thought. Do all of these realities already exist as soon as the thought exists, and is it just our actions that make one reality real, while the others fade away, or do the others just go on without you? I can't help to think, what is reality and is it not as real as we have always known it to be?

I can't help to think, what is reality and is it not as real as we have always known it to be?

Every time I hear a question similar to this, my mind automatically goes to this quote...

alt text

It's all about electrical signals deciphered and encoded by the brain. Frequency waves which filter through the physical brain and produce a (seemingly and very believable) solid manifested object or situation.

When we have a choice to do one thing or another, are we actually creating an alternate reality with every thought.

I was actually interested to understand this as well a few years back and got an excellent (yet mind twisting at first) answer from one of our fellow IQ members.

Is every single thought we have a parallel reality in itself?

Do all of these realities already exist as soon as the thought exists, and is it just our actions that make one reality real, while the others fade away, or do the others just go on without you?

Everything exists right now. Time is just an illusion. As hard as it sounds to grasp in the human brain, all things that are, were, and could be possible exist right now. The earth experience is something we like to play around with and see how far we can take the idea of forgetting and transform it into the idea of re-membering who and what we truly are.

We literally have a passion to, bit by bit, RE-member ourselves back together one frequency wave particle at a time. At least that is how I see the whole earth game progressing in my life, and it has really become a fun ride the last few years.

The only action that makes anything real is the vibration that you continually pulse out. One day an action of feeling good matches you up with a very desirable reality that you prefer to experience, while the next day, an action of feeling bad matches you up with something you dislike severely. They both were already available and in existence. You just make a conscious choice of which reality you shifted to.

Everything is going on right now, and it always has been, and always will be.

Just like all of your TV channels are going on right now. They all are simultaneously existing at this very moment. You take the remote and switch (change frequency) the channel to something that you like more that was already there and waiting. All the other channels still exist. Your TV is just not a frequency match anymore similar to which reality we are living at this second in time and space.

So to sum this all up in a nutshell...

Since everything exists right now, you are a powerful master creator that can experience whatever your heart desires as long as the frequency you pulse out consistently is a match to the desire that you prefer to experience.

We are so powerful that we can create the illusion of not understanding any of this stuff as well. The word "real" is just a term we use to try and organize ourselves a little better after we forget who we truly are at a certain point in our youth.

I guess that's what makes this earth game so darn interesting!

I couldn't agree more..I always envision that once one dies it is like a big ah-ha moment and we are once again all knowing and at the same time baffled by how much we forgot, yet eager to try again.

@Jess Yes, I believe that could very well be they way it is when we decide to exit stage left as well, but what is even more exciting from my viewpoint is to get that big ah-ha moment of remembering in physical form and have the so called hybrid effect of the best of both worlds. I truly believe that is the direction we are heading in as a species right now. Physical and non-physical knowledge combined as one whole unit of aware consciousness.

@Cory..yes, science and spirituality are finally catching up to one another faster now then ever before. I always wonder if all the cells in our body are aware that they are one. That is often how I think about people. We all have our own goals and agenda as we go through life, and the whole time we are all a part of the same organism, not even realizing that we are working together for the same goal. But you are right, when that day comes it will be amazing.

@Cory - I love this answer and the comments above. Very good. Thank you.

perhaps reality is what
we let ourselves see or
learn to see, some are falsely
imagined, some constructed
by thoughts and then true nature

you ask: When we have a choice to do one thing or another, are we actually creating an alternate reality with every thought. Do all of these realities already exist as soon as the thought exists, and is it just our actions that make one reality real, while the others fade away, or do the others just go on without you? I can't help to think, what is reality and is it not as real as we have always known it to be?

what if I tell you that you have more then one choice and another and each one of you as that choice, and all those choice affect one another. it gives out this reality that you are aware about. as for what you are not aware about. then there is more then one reality in the same reality. but since it is on a more subtle level that you are not aware about you do not see it.

Example you might think that your neighbor like to eat a certain kind of food because you have seen him eat a lot of it at your place. you might one day tell him this is a meal you like a lot and he might tell you I don't like it that much. then you might say when you have came to eat at my place you have eat a lot of it. and he might tell you I was very hungry that day I would have eat almost anything. so you see in your reality and the neighbor reality it is not the same yet in the middle it produced the same thing each according to your own awareness and understanding of the situation.
