Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share another insight I had. These days every time I have a problem or worry about something, I immediately get into the vortex and start receiving ideas and looking at things from a different, higher angle. After practicing this a bit and experiencing the difference between thinking in and out of the vortex, I came to the unescapable conclusion - We are stupid when we are outside the vortex

(I'm just trying to put out a strong message here with love, please don't be offended by the word "stupid")

It's amazing how we don't notice this. We spend so much time outside the vortex, trying to figure out and understand problems that we simply cannot understand from outside the vortex. We are not in connection with our higher mind and therefore we are thinking with the physical mind - and that mind does not have the answers. Like one man once said, it's like looking for a file in an empty file cabinet. At some point we experience alignment (maybe we are relaxed and focused on something that doesn't cause resistance) and suddenly wise thoughts appear, solutions come, and we are so unaware of it!

This is just huge... Really, every time you feel the world is falling or that you are in a desperate situation, just tell yourself that nothing is more important than feeling good and get into alignment. Just enjoy it and kind of swim in that sea of warmth, and brilliant thoughts will begin to appear. This is the genius state everyone's talking about. Just let go of the false belief that you are the one who is thinking about a solution, and let it come to you through source.

As you get into the vortex continuously it will become easier and easier... You will start seeing the benefit you get from everything that happens. How "bad" things happen to you so you can create new desires or become aware of vibrations that stop you from creating what you want, or by learning something new. You will start, just like Abraham say, to see the world more and more through the eyes of source.

Try it for a while and see for yourself.

"No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it." Albert Einstein.

I am not so much offended by the word "stupid" as I think that you are using it to attract people to your question. I personally wish you would have used a much less controversial and more appealing word. This is just my opinion, of course.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This is a well-written explanation, Benjamin. It strikes me as absurd that people are getting hung up on the word "stupid". There's a saying that "When a wise man points at the moon, all the fool sees is the finger" :)

(01 Dec '11, 18:39) Stingray

Yes Stingray apparently anyone not in the vortex are stupid fools for not being in the vortex.

(01 Dec '11, 19:08) Wade Casaldi

There is another saying, "When the wise man points a finger, three are pointing back at him.">>>>>>>>>>>

Jesus did not lead people to God by putting them down for not knowing God.

My friends - it would be wise to examine what is it in your belief systems that makes you get defensive when seeing the words "stupid" or "fool". Notice that no one had used the words personally or specifically, but you made a choice to take it that way. Everything here is written with goof intentions, so why do you choose confrontation? Get into the vortex and see this is another opportunity to take a big step forward. If you choose to do so, I'm glad to have steered up the resistance within you regarding this subject, so that you can be aware of it. Lots of love:)

(01 Dec '11, 20:28) Benjamin

Your words not mine "YOU are STUPID when not in the vortex" If I said "You are stupid if you are not a Christian." Does that seem arrogant and offensive to you, I ask what is the difference? I am trying to point out you can lead more people to The Vortex by telling them what they can gain than you can telling them they are stupid if they don't go into the vortex.

(01 Dec '11, 21:11) Wade Casaldi

Benjamin, I am sorry, but I agree with Wade on this one. If you had phrased the question like this: "Do we act stupid when we are not in the vortex" I would not object. But when you state that YOU are STUPID...well, how else can I take it??? Do you see the point here? Language is all we have to communicate with on IQ- and it is important to chose our words wisely. I am sticking with my original position: saying "YOU are STUPID" makes me feel defensive and angry. How else can someone take it??? Why are YOU defending this mistake? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Jaianniah and Wade, the message was sent and the word "stupid" appears in it (although the context you chose to understand it in, has nothing to do with the point I was making when opening this thread). You obviously didn't react to it very well... So what are you going to do now? Try to make me feel bad for it? Demand that I agree with you? Try to justify why you are right and I'm wrong? Is that behaviour benefitial to you, the creators of your realities? Or perhapse an emotional journey to alignment, in spite of what is in that message, is the better option? Again, lots of love to you.

And to answer your question, dear Jaianniah - defending my post has truly no importance to me whatsoever. But I will NOT participate in your personal battle. Does the fact you had an emotional reaction to the word "stupid", have anything to do with me, or is it an alert for you to introspect? Your emotional guidance system is telling you something. Instead of trying to control my behaviour, annoying as I may be, I suggest you listen to it. I'm sure it has wiser things to tell you than I ever can... I hope you choose to do that.

I guess my last quote didn't go down too well :) So here's another: "He who angers you, controls you". Have a nice day, folks :)

(02 Dec '11, 00:45) white tiger

With my new insight that the way you chose to use the word "You" actually includes yourself not excludes yourself and the word stupid you do not mean as "good for nothing" I can now see your point and apologize for getting upset over what was written, I now realize that was not your intent.

Benjamin, I said to you in another thread that I need to tattoo VORTEX FIRST on my forehead so my stupid non-Vortex self remembers it... But eh, that's a bit extreme, so I think I'll just stick to reading this thread once a day until it finally sinks in to my subconscious! (If that doesn't work, THEN the tattoo as a last resort). Thanks for this thread, the message is beautiful :)

"when a wise man points at the moon all the fool sees is the finger" love it :D ... reminds me of the tarot card "the fool" ... fools rush in where angels fear to tread, the fool can represent the untapped potential.

Well said, Benjamin.

You are stupid when not in the Vortex

In fact, let me express that a bit more clearly in case anyone missed it...

YOU are completely and utterly STUPID when not in the Vortex ;)

I've been promoting Abraham's idea of Vortex First, Any Way You Can, Then Everything Else for some time now. And I think, as you've realized yourself, that it's the ultimate way to live.

The issue I find is that the time when you most need to understand that Vortex alignment is important is when you are outside the Vortex but the time you are least ready to hear that message to yourself is also when you are outside the Vortex.

So, for me, I find I need to set up systems that almost trick me into Vortex alignment (when outside) otherwise I'll forget about it...the seductiveness of the out-of-the-Vortex world and brute-force action-oriented philosophies can utterly dominate the physical senses. And I think most of humanity is still stuck in that out-of-the-Vortex world on a daily basis to some extent.

I think part of the reason why a habit of daily meditation (or, at least, mental downtime) is so important is to give us that breathing room (when outside the Vortex) to remember that there is another way.

I use "tricks" like:

  • Making Vortex Alignment one of the first few things I do after waking up. (Basically, Manifesting Experiment 5)

  • Having a pre-prepared playlist of songs that I know will automatically bring me into Vortex alignment

  • Putting reminders on my To Do list to do something that I know will be fun (and thereby get me into the vicinity of the Vortex)

  • Watching comedy movies or stand-up comedians on a regular basis

  • Even writing IQ answers is something I do as a Vortex-alignment trick because I can often start to feel that alignment kick in as an answer begins to "flow"

I think the place to ultimately reach with all these "tricks" is to make Vortex alignment habitual, as you imply. Once we reach that stage then we're flowing our way through life in the way we intended from non-physical.

In other words, we allow the daily desires that bubble up in our lives to expand our Inner Being, which then breaks the Vortex alignment with our physical self. And then, through that established habit of reaching for realignment, we then feel the thrill of realigning in a new expanded state.

It's a bit like an endless cycle of breathing-in and breathing-out.

The time, of course, to set up all these tricks is when you are inside the Vortex and yet, the time when you think you'll least need them, and thereby not set them up, is when you are inside the Vortex.

You gotta love all the paradoxes :)

EDIT - 15 Jan, 2012

Just as an additional comment, I saw the film Limitless the other day and thought the story was a great symbolic analogy of what's it's like to be out of your Vortex compared with being inside your Vortex. I won't give the plot away but if you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about :)

Great post, Stingray. I love the idea of setting up tricks to get me in the vortex while I'm in a "stupid state" (outside the vortex) and feel like the right thing to do is act like a victim.

I will wholeheartedly admit that I am "stupid" when I am not in the Vortex, or the good feeling place, or a blissful state, or whatever You prefer to call it.

I can say this because I truly understand the concept of this good feeling place, but I don't always use it the way I know that I can. I unfortunately let old habits and routines lead the way more than I would like, even though I know they no longer serve my best interests. I'm getting better everyday though, mostly because I remind myself of how stupid it is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

I took the message of being stupid in Benjamin's post as saying, "I'm aware and understand the concept of this good feeling place which I choose to call The Vortex, and I would be really stupid to not use this knowledge for the betterment of my life." I only saw this message as a new twist in wording that is coming from my inner being, that already knows what is best for me.

It's like having the knowledge that the stove is hot, and putting your hand on the burner anyway. To me that is just plain ole stupid.

(27 Dec '11, 23:49) Snow

I wouldn't call everyone idiots that are not in the Vortex. I would just say maybe unaware. Aware Christians call that being in the world. It seems the Vortex is similar to the blessing of the Holy Spirit with regard to gaining insight in things that we haven't knowledge in and of our own selves.

The S.O.S. would call it Neo-Thinking.

With my new insight that even though in the rules of the English the word "You" excludes the one speaking just as the word "I" or "me" excludes everyone else that the word "You" was intended to be all inclusive not excluding the one making the statement.

Also with my new insight that the word "stupid" in this instance should not be synonymous with the words "Fool", "Idiot", "Simpleton", "Moron", and the phrase "Good for nothing." But should be more associated with the synonyms "Unaware", "Disconnected", "Mistaken", "Unclear", "Misunderstood", "Misspoken."

With this new understanding I can agree with the above statement that when we are not connected I like the Kingdom as my choice of words but yes when we are not in the Vortex the clarity of understanding is clouded by the perception. The perception is clouded by not being able to see beyond what you see, so I have to agree with the statement.

Hi Benjamin, No one lives in the vortex all the time and that is the reason it is so sweet when one finds themselves in the vortex and experiances insight. No one is stupid, it is just that some people find it easy to enter the vortex and some wont even get that right this lifetime while others don't even know what the vortex is.

Wade is right there are many that are in the vortex but call it by another name for after all the vortex is nothing new and was taught for thousands of years.

Enjoy the sweetnes of it and yes I can see your excitement and wanting others to feel it too. To each in his own good time.

Dear Paulina - I do not mean people are being stupid for not entering the vortex. I mean that when we are not in alignment, we are in a pretty "stupid" state where we can't see the clear picture from source's view... Anyway it's too bad people got caught up with the word "stupid" rather than with the message itself. I apologize if someone was offended.

(01 Dec '11, 17:27) Benjamin

Benjamin, let me officially clarify what I am objecting to in your question.

It is NOT the word "stupid" that bothers me; it is the word "you"!

I suddenly realized that you are using the word "you" as equal to the word "one" as in "One is stupid when not in the Vortex." You say the word "you" throughout your question (which, btw, is a fine and thought-provoking observation).

Do you see what I am getting at here?

I would like to see you change the statement into a real question, and then remove the you out of the title question, and substitute "we" or "one". I thought about how it could be re-worded: "I noticed that I feel stupid when I am not in the Vortex. Do you feel the same way?"

Then I would come back at you with sympathy and understanding because you have not made it sound like you are making a judgement.

I hope this helps clarify and I want to apologize for being a pain about this; I do not think our questions should ever be worded in a way that could be felt by anyone as hurtful P.S. You must have felt something was off about the word- otherwise you would not have apologized for using "stupid" in the first place.

Much peace,

Jai

i agree with you that is wording was not correctely put jai. but he said in the message to not be offended by the word stupid. so why make a big deal out of error. if you want to be perfect leave everything you have and follow me.you can have sympathy and harmony jai. if it is a judgement he will be judge with the same mesure.jai stop being a pain and heal it will be done according to your faith.

(02 Dec '11, 02:58) white tiger

duly noted, Jai, and I'll be more careful in the future. Thanks.

(02 Dec '11, 09:17) Benjamin

I am glad you see what we were trying to say now Benjamin. When you say "You" that word excludes "Me" or "I" from the whole group that is "You." "Us" and "We" includes all including "Me" or "I" in other words saying "You" is similar to saying "What is wrong with you why can't you be more like me." Unfortunately my pastor sometimes uses almost those words saying, "If your life is messed up it is something you are doing wrong, look at my life and how right it is, God blesses me all the time." for me I take it as example but other get offended at times like they are being accused.

I would suspect that most people find it difficult to get into the vortex while they are facing a problem. One would think that they must solve the problem before they can access the vortex. This would create quite a vicious circle if one believed they had to solve the problem before they have access to the vortex and then be told they are stupid and will make stupid mistakes while not in the vortex so they need to solve their problem from inside the vortex, but they don't have access to the vortex if they have a problem.

Hi Fairy Princess, You can have access to the Vortex or whatever you want to call it even if you have problems. Meditate or trick yourself with something that makes you feel good. It is a bit difficult in the beginning but it gets easier with time.

(07 Dec '11, 05:15) Paulina 1

Hmmmm. I'm stupid? Yet you don't know me. Nor do you know what I have accomplished since learning the art of manifesting in the mid 1980s or the purpose of deliberate self-growth.

I no longer go to a vortex to take me away form unpleasant emotions or limiting thoughts. That's because I spent many years exploring my beliefs in order to make them consistent with what I want to happen in my life. I no longer have unwanted unpleasant emotions that cause me to need a tool like your vortex. My life is extremely pleasant. It happens pretty much like a car on cruise control.

so how again am I stupid?
