A phrase that we see used often. What does it mean. What is the Image of God? Is it Nature? A Baby in a manger? Allah? A Man on a cross? The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?

Or is it Something less tangible?

God is spirit. you are made in is image.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.

who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows

you in spirit are made in is image.

"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

only the sons of God have come to know him in spirit.

when you will be born again you will not need to ask this question. you will know him in spirit. from your mortal mind, even all your imagination could not make you understand him and see all is glory. you need to seek the truth God is the light of truth. God is the absolute truth from the alpha to the omega. and you are made in is image brother and sister.

@white tiger I like your answer, eloquent, clear, concise, and quotable! We are not talking a physical Image, but a Spiritual. Ain Soph Aur Limitless Light; אין סוף אוֹר Tzimtzum two levels above the Point, Keter כתר. Just thinking about this makes me feel heady.

It means we are him.

"God is more than the sum of all the probable systems of reality he has created ,and yet he is within each one of these, without exeption. He is therefore within each man and women , he is also within each spider, shadow and frog, and this is what man does not like to admit. God can only be experianced, and you experience him whether or not u reailize it through your own existance. In the most inexapable truth, he is not human in ur tems at all, nor in ur terms is he a personality. Your ideas of personality are too limited to contain the facitts of his multideminsonal existance,," ................Seth Speks, The Eternal Validity of the Soul...... Even though I have read this many times (from Seth) I enjoy how this information feels in my consciousness every time I hear it. It's like wonderful re-assuring nectar of knowledge. Thank you for sharing it.

@the traveller yes, i feel it every time it is heard. I remember the every first time i was secondhandedly led to this information by my source, He led me here to confirm what he was saying was true, only in a much different way. I have heard the excerpts probably over 500 time and read the book well over 20, no matter how many times it is heard r read, I always feel drawn so strongly to it and always find a new way to see it or even new information. It truly is some of the greatest work ever

he glorify you by being allowed in is presence. in the presence of the light of truth from where every things come from and everythings go. eternally. in a pure light with no shifting shadow. he is greater then all. and all want to go towards him and become like him. in is kingdom there is no darkness. the darkness will not enter the light.

We have explored this question on Inward Quest "True or False, I am God and you are God and we are all God?" Perhaps you will find what your looking for there. There is a YouTube series called I Survived: Beyond and Back. You may find what your looking for there. After you've searched here and there go back to what you felt to be the answer and you will find it there.
