NO BARRY! This is not an exact duplicate, silly boy. The question is VERY different than those other two. The first one says "limiting beliefs." The second one says "unwanted beliefs." Those are not the same as "false beliefs." Can you be a little more discerning please?

Mr. G, I think you have a team of censors on your ass.

@mr.g : I've re-opened the question. However, I suggest that, in future, you put enough information in the body of the question to make clear what the question is intended to be about

OK,

Write down any part of your life that is not in harmony. Example: Money. Now write down your beliefs about money e.g. It is the root of all evil, it corrupts people, it doesn't grow on trees. It brings me Joy, when I share it it brings others Joy and so on.

Now focus on or meditate on how each individual statement "vibrates" with you. The ones that do not vibrate well with you, toss away. Any one that makes you feel uncomfortable you need to make friends with that discomfort is asking you to not ignore it.

This is one example of how I found out that some of my beliefs needed some changing and I have a few more to go.

Change is wonderful exciting and of course never changing.

Keep the change

Michael

First, I identify the belief (all beliefs are false). When I find myself in a horror film of one sort or another, I believe something. When I find myself elated over some thing or another, I believe something. Whenever I judge, I believe. ... Discomfort and limitation are immediate give-aways of a belief.

Eliminating beLIEfs involves reminding myself of the one and only truth: There is no truth. ALL changes in this dream including 'me'. I could choose to let go of the belief or process it in any number of ways. A deep breath always helps.

Reminding myself of the dream-like nature of everything puts any belief in perspective. Replacing the power of 'i' with the power of 'I' then rearranges the scene entirely.

A question I ponder is 'How do I stop creating beliefs and attachments?'

Perhaps that comes once I've dealt with all of these pesky lies.

I might be making this more complex than it needs to be. How about, "Stop believing anything and question everything. Live every moment as if it's the first. Live like an alien."

To identify false beliefs is to know the truth. The truth is that the human Being is made of Source Energy and so is Everything else. So anything that deviates from that truth is false. Getting rid of false beliefs is a matter of identifying with Yourself as Source energy. To get rid of false beliefs is to follow your heart, the seat of Source in your body. If a belief feels "good" to you adopt it. Does it feel good to believe that you are Source Energy? I bet it does.

We are only a drop in the ocean of source energy and even though a drop contains all the properties of the whole it is much, much less powerful.

I agree but you forgot to say how.

I WOULD RECOMMEND SETTING ALL BELIEFS TO FALSE UNLESS THEY HAVE A STRONG SUPPORTING EVIDENCE, THAT THEY ARE REALITY BASED, CORRECT, PROVEN, GENUINELY TRUE, REAL, aCCURATE, rELATED TO t= fACT, ETC....

belief is in duality every belief you have can have opposite belief. understand the meaning and put it to rest. only when awareness and focus remain in perfect harmony can you reach the next stage. experience and enjoy.
