I'm not entirely sure how to phrase this question, but I suddenly feel like asking it here.

Over the last couple of weeks in particular, every day I have had sudden moments when I suddenly FEEL like I'm in a totally different time period (and place). I've had these feelings occasionally before, I think most have, but they were always rare. Recently it has been every day, sometimes multiple times a day.

Many times it's not even related to anything explicit that I can see happening. For example, while backing out of the drive I all of a sudden just felt like I was 6 years old again and on an island where my grandmother used to live. It lasts briefly and somewhat disorients and intrigues me then fades.

Other times it may be introduced by something, one example I was walking down the street and a shop has it's "signs" out and they're flapping in the wind. All of a sudden I feel like I'm 6 years back sailing in a regatta. That one I can logically see and wouldn't normally think anything of, but most of them aren't like that. And I've past those signs fluttering everyday, only recently did it bring that feeling.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight into to this or may have experienced it before.

Hi Liam

I have had similar experiences this past year.I will get a sudden feeling and then this triggers an early childhood memory that I had long forgotten.

The only thing I can link it to is,I am spending more time in the Vortex these days.Maybe this is triggering earlier memories in early childhood when I had a similar vibration and spent (like most children) more time in the Vortex:)

Hope this helps.

I often feel this, sort of slipping and sliding around in time. Like @Satori mentioned, more so this year, and I do feel that connection with meditation and spending more time in the Vortex.

I don't always slip around in my own recognizable memories, though. Its like I get flashes of a different time or reality. Its hard to describe, but if I could ever get it nailed down, I too wanted to post a question here. (Thanks @Liam.)

I look around as I'm driving and "see" the hills around me bare of homes and roads. I get excited when I see old photos from a hundred years ago bc they seem more "real" or "right", somehow. I see rivers that aren't held in place by concrete, I look at a hilltop and wonder, how many years, decades, or lifetimes has it been since someone stood here... saw this.... sat on this rock as I am. Its like tuning in a radio station and hearing staticky conversations...

I don't know what I mean, I realize its badly expressed. I always wonder what trees would tell us if they could talk. Some one fought here. Some one cried here. Someone loved here...
