I am still having trouble, and I am wondering if it is connected to a problem with my soul- or my spirit. This was suggested by Wade's Mom, who is a healer and a channeler...she worked on me and told me to stay close to St. Matthew, and to rest a lot.

Is there such a connection between your soul and body? I know that there is, but experiencing it like this makes me wonder what the heck I am doing wrong. What can I do to fix this? I need concrete suggestions, please. The doctors are useless (and I wonder if they always have been).

Any thoughts? How can I rid myself of this unnamed illness (can't talk too well, slurred speech, can't walk too well, lose my balance, seeing double all the time, generally feeling lousy and tired). I should add that I am beside myself with worry about our bills. We don't have enough money to pay them all. Things have been really hard for me and Wade.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Your Jai

If you do what I do, maybe you'll feel as I feel? I feel wonderful - Why not try it for a month? It sure couldn't hurt. :)

First thing in the morning, before anything but coffee, every day:

  1. Place Mat (I carry it with me all day)
  2. Focus Blocks
  3. Rampage of Appreciation
  4. Affirmations
  5. Meditate for 15 minutes
  6. Balance my chakras (Ala @Jaianniah) :)

It looks like a lot, but it is easy to do, really. I just spend a few minutes each on the first four, and the whole thing takes about 45 minutes to an hour. It's worth every second. I pop up off the bed after I've balanced my chakras, and I'm positively scampering around, giggling as I get ready for my day. I must look utterly ridiculous, but luckily I live alone so no one but my cats ever sees this. @Wade will get used to you doing a little scampering, I dare say. ;) I literally feel high as a kite!

I can't stress enough that before taking up these processes, this was not my normal state of being in the mornings before work. It used to feel more like marching off to war. Or to the slaughter house. Ugh. It is amazing what a difference a few small vibrational alignment practices can make in a life. :)

During the day, I tap away anything that wants to come up and get me upset in any way. I jot it down so I can do a focus block on it the next morning and get rid of it, or find out if it's a bigger deal that needs a belief change.

Lastly Jai, I still read at least part of the poem below every single day. I keep it in the front of folder where I work on all those Place Mats, Focus Blocks, etc. so I'll be sure to see it every morning, before I decide to start fretting about things I can't control. It has become my background music. :) Take care of your vibes, girl, and just let everything else go.

:)

SHE LET GO .... without a thought or a word, she let go.

She let go of the fear.

She let go of the judgements.

She let go of the opinions swarming around her head.

She let go of the committee of indecision within her.

She let go of all the "right" reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go.

She didn't ask for advice. She didn't read a book on how to let go. She just let go.

She let go of all the memories that held her back.

She let go of all the anxiety that kept her from moving forward.

She let go of all the planning and all the calculation, about how to do it just right.

In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A smile came over her face. A light breeze blew through her. And the sun and moon shone forever more.

Wow, @Grace! What an answer! A whole new way of life, I'd say. I will have to try this...and yes, @Wade would appreciate a bit of scampering (although that portion of my psyche does not seem affected...:) )+1 For sharing this with not just me, but all who read it...It is good advice for all. Thank you! Love, jai

@Grace You are so cool! :)

@Jai, I'm glad you found value in it. I do hope you will give it a go, I would love to hear how it affects how you feel. It's just the lazy girl's condensed version of what I've learned here, as you can see. I don't even try very hard, I just do each step, mindfully.

It seems that the only deal-breaker is consistancy, a fact which which was driven home for me again recently. It does need to be done every morning, but it's so easy, and the payoff is huge. :)

Thank you, @clearheart. :)

@releaser99 - Me? LOL!!! I'm a dork! But thank you, that was funny. :)

(14 Jun '13, 00:02) Grace

@Grace No, really. I love your writing style. It feels so lovingly warm like Mother Teresa's aura but at the same time you come across so "cool" ...like Chuck Norris lol. That's probably another confusing compliment. Anyway, you know what I mean. Keep up the good work! :)

(14 Jun '13, 09:42) releaser99

@Grace- I love the "release" exercise- the writing is wonderful...where did you find it? BTW< the same thing is happening to my body all over again...slurred speech, ataxia, double vision, etc....Really scared, but the Release Poem helped A LOT!!! Thanks Jai

... And I'm still holding up perfect health, clarity, peace and love for you @Jai, and I will keep it up til we hear you're better. :)

What should you do, then? First of all, you must realize that you are the hypnotist. You must seize the initiative here as you have in other positive aspects of your life. Whatever the superficial reasons for your beliefs, you must say:

For a certain amount of time I will momentarily suspend what I believe on this area, and willfully accept the belief I want. I will pretend that I am under hypnosis, with myself as hypnotist and subject. For that time desire and belief will be one. There will be no conflict because I do this willingly. For this period I will completely alter my old beliefs. Even though I sit quietly, in my mind I will act as if the belief I want were mine completely.

At this point do not think of the future, but only of the present. If you are overweight, insert the weight that you think is ideal for you while you are following this exercise. Imagine that you are healthy if you have the belief that you are not. If you are lonely, believe that you are filled with the feeling of companionship instead. Realize that you are exerting your initiative to imagine such situations. Here there can be no comparison with your normal situation. Use visual data, or words-whatever is most natural to you. And again, no more than ten minutes is required.

If you do this faithfully, within a month you will find the new conditions materializing in your experience. Your neurological structure will respond automatically. The unconscious will be aroused, bringing its great powers to bear, bringing you the new results. Do not try to over do this, to go through the entire day worrying about beliefs, for example. This can only cause you to contrast what you have with what you want. Forget the exercise when it is completed. You will find yourself with impulses that arrive in line with these newly inserted beliefs, and then it is up to you to act on these and not ignore them.

The initiative must be yours. You will never know unless you try the exercise. Now if you are in poor health, and have a physician, you had better continue going to him, because you still rely on that system of belief- but use these exercises as supplements to build up your own sense of inner health, and to protect you against any negative suggestions given by your doctor. Utilize the belief in physicians since you have it.

Stress. Stress stress stress. Nothing worse for you than stress. It can cause symptoms worse than many illnesses. I know it's a bit useless telling people not to stress when they have stressful situations, but really it's the best advice you can give.

Decide what the possible outcomes are, accept that you'd keep on going in either case, then do whatever you need to do to encourage the outcome you desire while putting no more wasted time or thought contemplating outcomes you've already figured out. If there is nothing you can do to help your situation, consider if there are any ways for you to make it possible for you to help your situation. If there's nothing you can do and no way for you to change it, then you should turn your focus to ways you can accept your situation better. Things you enjoy, things to distract you, find new (and old) sources of entertainment.

Being more accepting and less critical can have excellent impacts on this. Usually being critical towards anything comes as a consequence of being ultra critical of yourself. Perhaps there is a part of yourself you're not accepting of. I know it can be hard to decide to be less stressed when there are parts of your life causing it, but you have to find ways to rationalize it (or decide you need no rationalization). Convince yourself you're strong and will keep on living and being happy irrelevant of what happens.

Some people like to say "it could always be worse". I don't like it because I feel like it's putting my attention in the wrong direction, of all of the different ways it could get worse. Instead I'd focus on how it can get better, even if simply by choosing to be happier in the exact same circumstances. If you could change nothing else about a moment but whether or not you were positive or negative, wouldn't the positive one be the side you'd rather stay on when possible? Whether you look at it spiritually or logically the answer seems to always be enjoy life, it just makes sense.

Oh, and you're fine, your soul is fine. All it means is God only gives us what we can handle so God decided you're awesome and have a bit more gunk to work through than some. It gives you a chance to help and inspire other people in need, like myself. What good would a healer be if they couldn't / didn't empathize with their patients?

A great answer, Snow, and so very helpful...Yeah stress...You could say that it has been adding up and up...I can barely take it any more. Thank you so much for the soothing words and help. I always did like your answers, kiddo! +1 for this one from me!

So true....stress will show up somewhere and let us know it's time to shift something somewhere <3

I believe Snow summed it up best - " you're fine, your soul is fine". Please allow me to reiterate & reinforce:**

There is nothing wrong with your soul, Jai!

Wade's Mother may have a point.

Patron saints are chosen as special protectors or guardians over areas of life. These areas can include occupations, illnesses, churches, countries, causes - anything that is important to us.

As for St Matthew - Some believe he is the Patron Saint of Money & pray to him to intercede (meaning help them with their financial problems). Most Catholics believe he is the Patron Saint of Finance - Tax Collectors , Accountants, Stock Brokers, etc.

St Matthew's gospel was all about being in the Now. Matthew 6:25 - 6:34 - to paraphrase Matthew 6:34.

**

"Don't worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself." ~ Matthew 6:34

**

Sounds like Saint Matthew is talking about the LOA here.

**

"So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." ~ Matthew 21:22

**

I read your answers to two questions posted on Monday. Both times you mentioned your 'past'. I know Wade is a fan of The Secret. Monday's quote was:

**

"There is no past or future for the law of attraction, only the present, so stop referring to your life in the past as very difficult, or full of hardship and pain, or in any other negative way.

Remember that the law> only operates in the present, so when > you speak of your past life negatively the law is receiving your words and sending those things back to you NOW." ~ Rhonda Byrne

**

Personally, I'm not into reading the Bible - I prefer listening to the Beatles. Maybe you will to.

Just a thought - I wonder, did you have a chiropractic treatment recently? You mentioned "intensive" chiropractic treatment. I think it would be wise if you laid off these treatments for a while & see if you start feeling better. Don't get me wrong, I believe strongly in chiropractic treatment; however it is often times contraindicated for people who have chronic conditions & chronic emotional problems such as yours. I would never recommend "intensive" chiropractic treatments for anyone with a chronic condition - chiropractors - yes; intensive - NO.

Since you don't work & seem to have a lot of time on your hands - perhaps when you get your voice back & can get around, you could try helping or giving your time to someone else (volunteering) - may get your mind off your own worries.

Plenty of ppl have illness etc and joyful souls. In everything we go through or do it's still about learning to love and accept ourself and life and trusting that we will be allright. More fine tuning toward what we want. Making sure we don't have split vibrations- even the idea of wanting to be taken care of can be a belief that could lead to illness, so tweaking that belief to include in health and awesome circumstances is one idea of my own.
