In The Master Key sysytem, lesson 1, sit quietly ... do you keep your eyes open or closed?

It is not addressed in the instructions, quoted below.

  1. Now make the application: Select a room where you can be alone and undisturbed; sit erect, comfortably, but do not lounge; let your thoughts roam where they will but be perfectly still for from fifteen minutes to half an hour; continue this for three or four days or for a week until you secure full control of your physical being.

Please consider lifting the arbitrary requirement that this field contain 1,000 characters. Expressing oneself succinctly shows that one has clarified one's thoughts and is a virtue. Drawing the question out unnecessarily consumes the reader's valuable time without adding value. I appreciate the ability to ask questions and to receive answers. I would say keep your eyes open for meditating. make both eyes single. fix a spot in front of you that is not there. know yourself that is where your awareness start. that spot will be where you focus your concentration and awareness to stay aware. if Bodhi dharma jesus and Buddha meditated like that for a very long time it must be because it was working if not they would have change their method. What do you think?
