This is an authentic Prophetic teaching:

"A man intended to give charity, and when found a man he gave him. The next day, people started saying: 'last night, charity was given to a thief'. (On hearing that) he said, “O Allah! All praise and thanks are for You. l will give alms again.” So. he again went out with his alms and (unknowingly) gave it to an adulteress. Next morning the people commented that charity had been given to an adulteress.

The man said. “O Allah! All praise and thanks are for You. l gave charity to an adulteress! Surely. l will give charity again.” So. he went out with his alms again and (unknowingly) gave it to a rich man. Next morning, there was talk again that someone had given alms to a rich man. He said, “O Allah! All praise and gratitude is for You. (l had given charity) to a thief`. an adulteress and a wealthy man.” Then it was said to him ( in a vision), “

As for The charity that you gave to the thief perhaps it might make him abstain from stealing. The alms given to the adulteress might prevent her from adultery (she too might repent. And the wealthy man who was given charity might take a lesson and spend wealth that Allah has given him in Allah’s cause (seeing that someone spends his money).”

Thats why we shouldn't never hesitate when it comes to charity and hope that anything would contribute in reconciliation and good

Jesus said:

Matthew 25/34-46

34“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

41“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; 42for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44“Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45“Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46“These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

So as we treat others we treat God himself. So all those people are to be given to and helped that they can progress and find God themselves and to further the Kingdom of God on Earth. It can be a lesson to us as well as a lesson to them of the love and compassion of God through us.

Subhan ALLAH! Praise be to Allah

@ wade the latter qoute reminded me of the following teaching :

“Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: “O son of adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.”

He would say: “O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”

Thereupon Allah would say: “Didn’t you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me.”

He would say: “My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”

Allah said: “Didn’t you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? (The Lord would again say): O son of adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me.”

He would say: “My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds?”

Thereupon Allah would say: “Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me.”"

Yes Springflower it is a glorious thing to see the similarities of Christ teachings with Muhammad's teachings instead of the differences. We can find many things to divide but blessed is the peace maker. :-)
