People are attracted to a business because it fulfills their wants and needs. How is the customer service? Are the prices attractive? Is the store clean?

Attracting customers to a business means knowing what customers want. That means listening to feedback from customers, and being creative about new ideas that excite them.

The best example that I can think of is the IPad. What a marvelous device. On the first day it came out, Apple sold 300,000 IPads. In the first three months they sold 3 million units, and sales are projected to top 28 million in 2011.

How is this possible during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, selling one of the more expensive devices in its market? Apple figured out what people want, and gave it to them.

The Law of Attraction says, "That which is likened to itself is drawn." People are drawn to your store because they can "see themselves" in your store, and can "see themselves" wearing the clothes that your store offers. As an employee, it's important that you project that image, by dressing well yourself, having a professional demeanor, etc.

You might have better luck with this one through academics and proven studies.

I am sure there was a lot of research and math in selling the iPad.

Do not forget the non-spiritual side of life either. Source gave us both!

EDIT

@Ane: Technically everything is spiritual but what I am trying to say is that there are non spiritual perspectives on selling items. For example, the advertising industry is a great example. They use subliminal messages, colors that make people feel good, find the right proportion to supply and demand for pricing, use complex calculations for deciding what location to sell specific items, the angel of the display shelf, researching the target group, knowing your target group, having certain items in the front of the store, playing different type of music in the store, the list goes on and on and on. These things are spiritual by default but are usually studied, developed and used from a "non-spiritual" perspective.

Perhaps using the LOA will lead you to these methods?

EDIT 2

Ok, here is an interesting way to look at what I was trying to say:

Many have been taught and come to believe that science and spirituality are separate and are conflicting viewpoints. By taking the initiative to explore and analyze both closely, you’ll discover that, although there are perceived conflicting viewpoints on the surface concerning insignificant specifics, at the core they are actually One and the same understanding. The only difference is in the delivery of the information.

If you think you can, then you can! So make it happen without putting too much emphasis on it. Use your charm, skills, and ability as a professional, to influence your customers, and to get them to keep come back, again, and again!

Anything is possible in life, so take a chance, and see where it will take you. And with the right attitude, and Marketing Promotion tools, who knows what the LOA will bring your way!

I hope so Ane. Ive started a new business today and have been quite inspired by Brian Tracy. He believes that the LOA positive thinking etc is absolutely vital in marketing and selling. In fact he believes that these careers are ideally suited to this type of thinking/faith/living system. Of course they would serve well in any career ,relationship or lifestyle but im convinced that they are very relevant to attracting leads, customers and sales. Ill give it a couple of months and let you know.

Hi Ane

To the best of my knowledge, this is how the individual point of attraction translates into experience from that individuals perspective.

If you want to work at a place where that place becomes more successful than it already is, unless you introduce each and every participant (in that store) to the idea of taking responsibility for their content of consciousness, you are left only with the ability to manipulate your individual experience or perceived experience.

It is always ultimately your individual experience that creates your perceptions.

If your desire is to see the business grow and see you boss happy, you can choose to hold that idea in your mind as the preferred "now moment" and before long you will start to get the appropriate feedback to uphold that perception.

You might over hear a conversation where the customers are acknowledging the growth of the business. You might hear your boss commenting that she/he has started to notice an increase in sales, profit, clientele, or all of the above.

If you keep at it and keep on holding on to your vision, sometimes reality will catch up to the vision and the store you are at will become more successful, or on the other hand, circumstances will transfer you to another store that is more successful and more fitting to the vision you have chosen to attract.

It is still always your experience, not your bosses experience that you perceived from where you stand.

You cannot see the content within your bosses consciousness, nor can you take responsibility for it.
