If Source is not material substance, can Source feel? Feelings imply the duality of the physical plane,ie, hot/cold, soft/hard. The five senses? As well as emotions joy/sadness.

Source has extended itself into the material plane through my physical self. I have one foot on the earth and the other in an immaterial place. We, Source and I co-create physical plane manifestations ranging from material objects to states of consciousness.

So

Are we the sensory organs of Source/God? Does God have a good time through me? And I concurrently have a good time through my relationship with Him?

EDITED: May 5, 2012 As Stingray so well put it, we have a symbiotic relationship with Source/God. This morning I was looking at a huge bank of Jasmine flower vines in my garden. The feeling of Beauty was overwhelming! I felt that I was "Looking through the Eyes of Source." I feel that this is a co-creation of me and Source.

So maybe Source is "Looking through the eyes of Bill" while Bill is looking through the "Eyes of Source"? Source gets the experience and Bill gets the Joy of bonding. Or maybe Bill and Source get a joyful experience.

And we warm ourselves by the gentle loving fire of Source.

Source seems to be like a large soft, fluffy adult that I sit in its lap and hug. Recently I was hugging Source and I began to drift into a negative place about someone. I had the distinct image that I was hitting Source with my fists and screaming so loud I could not hear Source.

Then I looked for Beauty in my Now Moment, I filled myself with light and re-bonded with Source. God is always patient and loving. Only I can cause the disconnection. Only I can bring the connection back. God always welcomes the prodigal son home.

Emotions, or feelings, as we think of them on the physical plane are unique to the physical plane.

What an emotion actually is, is a physical representation of to what degree your source (Higher Self) is aligned with you in any moment.

When you are focused on a thought that your Higher Self doesn't wish to focus on, there is a separation of that alignment to a greater degree and you feel an "emptiness", which we label as negative emotion.

When you are focused on a thought that your Higher Self is either already focusing on or wishes to focus upon as well, there is a fuller alignment and you feel a "fullness" of that source flowing through you, which we label as positive emotion.

The more complete the alignment, the more source is experiencing the physical plane through you. So you could say that when you are in states of absolute joy, passion, excitement etc, then source is really feeling those as well because you have the "complete fullness" of source flowing through you in that moment.

In that moment, you are a perfect divine blending of physical and non-physical and, as Abraham often say, that's as good as life gets.

The rest of the time, when you are not in complete alignment, I tend to think of it as being the difference between watching a movie and actually being a character in the movie. When you are not in full alignment, your source is effectively just "watching" the movie without participating in the events of it.

So the idea of a "good time" is really only one that exists, in my view, on the physical plane because non-physical is always having a "good time" because that lack of alignment with source (resistance) hardly exists in non-3D realities as compared to here.

I would agree then that we are effectively the sensory organs of source but not to have a "good time", but instead to have "experiences".

The symbiotic relationship I see happening is...The physical self chases "good times" and, in that chase - whether it succeeds or not - it generates "experience" for the Higher Self (and beyond).

Physical Self wants positive emotion, Higher Self wants experiences.

@Stingray, should one be aiming to try and feel source, or feel good, say 90% of the day, and 10% of the day to be contrast? A 24 hour day is just an example, but say, 90/10 for a week, month, year.... Personally, do you feel good predominantly during the day?

@Nikulas - Abraham recommend 90% in the Vortex, 10% out of the Vortex. It's difficult for me to say where I am because my interest is also in understanding manifesting ideas. It's like asking a car mechanic if they like driving cars. Yes, they do but they also enjoy ripping their cars to bits :) So in a similar way, I like to keep pushing the limits in my own life beyond what others would, so I can understand these ideas more clearly. Certainly, any lasting negative emotion is very rare for me

@Stingray good concept...I would have assumed that perhaps the entire realm of manifesting to try and create a better life no longer ammuses you, and now you're at the gritty bits of seeing how deep you can go and pretty much learn the 'art of God' as fine as you can. Awesome and thankyou for the reply :)

@Nikulas - I'm nowhere near understanding these ideas fully yet :) The more I learn about them, the more I realize how much I don't know :) I think that's true of many worthwhile subjects in life. When you are starting out, you don't know how much you don't know so it seems easy. When you've been at it for a while, you start to realize just how much you don't know and it's humbling. While others may think you know a lot, you know you are just scratching the surface.

@Stingray - beautiful answer! I particularly like "Physical Self wants positive emotion, Higher Self wants experiences."

I do not call it "Source".

I call it God. I guess we all have our words for "whatever it/He/She" is out there...But we are not here to argue semantics.

My God permeates everything in existence...there is no place He is not...so He is, by my definition, in me, through me, in my Soul, everywhere I can imagine!

So, by definition, if I feel or think or do, He is also, because He flows through me, there.

The real question, though, is: Do I feel Him? Do I feel with Him as I experience and do and feel???

When I do, life is grand. I am "In the Vortex". I am not watching the movie, to quote Stingray; I am "in the movie" because I feel God with me! My Higher Self, God, me...we are all One. We are One. We Are.....It is not a void. It is existence as it was meant to be.

The goal is to co-exist, to feel One with All, most of the Time. But we ARE human, we sometimes "lose the connection."

That, I think, happens at times.

What is really sad to see are all those people who never wake up and live at all...and never even know there is more, more, more... They sleep-walk through life, just focused on money or their housework or their kids without really feeling God at all.

Ugh.

I'll keep at this, and at this, and at this, until I am there. Until I reach...

Jai, I use the words Source, God, Universal Mind, Higher Self, Holy Guardian Angel, interchangeably. However you want to represent God, however you want a personal relationship with whatever term you like. Personally, I like "God" also.

Well I will say that Source or God experiences everything all at once in the Eternal Now. So each moment that you experience something it is new for you. As for God, yes sometimes He can act through you according to His Will with your will in total accord with Him to do His works. Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."

http://bible.cc/john/5-17.htm

Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the Truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. John 14:10

Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

http://bible.cc/john/5-19.htm

If you ever feel the thought and emotion like this; this person was righteous in his life he or she did some good work he or she deserves some help. Do you agree? Yes it His Truth, let it be.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

http://bible.cc/john/14-12.htm

experience and enjoy.
