I thought I would try an experiment and upload a video of myself demonstrating some brief ideas about creating Focus Blocks.

I have been working on removing some blocks that I believe have caused me to be out in the wilderness and under the juniper tree. I have found your work very helpful, useful, and really easy to understand and do. Thanks for sharing. What I am working on now is manifesting a financial blessing for myself. I have been out of work since October 2011 and my home is facing foreclosure. As a matter of fact, I have until May 17th to find a job or be able to pay the arrearage that is owed (about $25,000). Needless to write, I am feeling anxious. Still, I believe that Spirit will not forsake me in this endeavor.
I had a job interview last Thursday. To be honest, I am really over-qualified for the job and it is not my ideal job, but it will assist me in staving off the foreclosure. I have working with the Focus Block as well as EFT and Zpoint (thanks for the recommendations) to remove any fear, thoughts of lack, feelings of failure, and anxiety from myself that rise up on occasions.
I have also prepared a request letter that I will be putting in my box tomorrow. I shall let you know how I fare. Thanks again for your assistance.

Thanks. I reviewed the suggested post already. The human response is, of course, to worry and/or to do something. So, trying to work that out. I will write out positive thoughts as I move through this transition. I put my letter in a box and have used EFT to keep myself in a positive place. It's all good because there was a post where you stated that perhaps the current state of no negative thoughts or emotions (I am paraphrasing) is sufficient. It is, because I feel good.

Stingray, I think that the movement to working on my blockages arose because it was time for me to work on them. I got to this point because I needed to remove all the negative emotions that were vexing me. The precipice of homeless is the catalyst for me. It's a clearing process as I see it. Forgiveness of self and others, seeing my fears and seeing myself as more than just a career-persona are all necessary parts of this journey. Not fun just necessary and beneficial to self and others.

Well, I have good news! I heard back from the job I entered for and have completed the documents to get a clearance. A little apprehensive about my credit, but I think folks are understanding about the economy and how losing a job can wreck havoc on one's finances. So, things are looking good and I am feeling great about my prospects. I appreciate all the great insights from Stingray and others! I will let you know when I start work and how my court case goes on the 17th! All is well.

Update: Got a call from the company's recruiter and we discussed salary. Then had a second interview for position yesterday. Seems the company does things differently than others: security check, recruiter, then second interview. The interview went extremely well. I was surprisingly relaxed and confident. Now, waiting to hear back from HR. Had the mediation about the house on the 17th of May and that went well too. Have time to either secure position to get loan modification or arrearage.

Went and had fingerprints done and am waiting for security waiver so I can start without the security clearance be fully done. Hoping to start on Monday, June 10th. Will keep you posted.

Update: Got a call yesterday that company no longer has funds for the position. I was a little crestfallen. But received follow-up email to interview for another job. But it is all good as the movement with the initial job has given me more time to find something to stave off the foreclosure. Now, have until July 23rd to have something in place to get the loan modification. Looking back on my letter that I wrote, I was not specific in my request for the job. So, this go round I will be. Thanks!

@Herculean - You sound confident enough in your abilities to keep going with exploring these ideas even when things don't apparently go your way, which is a great attitude to have. You are clearly almost there because of the vibrational matches you've been getting up to now so it's really just a case of keeping on going with what you are doing. You can gain enormous long-term confidence in yourself by maintaining good feelings even when feeling a bit of pressure.

Been away for a minute to regroup. So thanks Stingray for your comments; I really appreciate your positivity and insights. I seem to back at square one: no job or money YET. Nothing has panned out -- so far. But still looking and feeling good about things. Not fearful or overly concerned, which surprises me at times because my situation from an objective prospective should be terrifying. No job, no savings and facing eviction. Yet I feel confident that all will be well. Will keep you informed.

Well, things are good. I realized today that sometimes things happen to us on this physical plane to push us to take a journey onto a new spiritual path. Manifestation is good because we need to take care of our bodies, but it is only one element of a million things we can do. I am feeling confident about my home and finances, so no more worries there. I am going to embark on an entirely new spiritual journey with a new teacher. He's Gano Grills.

I thought I would give an update. I was in bad straits last year because I was afraid to lose my home. So much had gone wrong and I was in a dither for so long. No psychic, spiritual advisor could help me manifest the money I needed. Well, I had to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy to save my home and started really investing myself in my business. It was not what I had in mind, but I still have my home. I am at peace.

I'm glad you noticed the voice was disguised...I don't normally sound like a kidnapper making ransom demands down the phone :) I've had my "15 minutes of fame" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_minutes_of_fame) in the past and I just like my privacy these days, that's all. Good work. That was very understandable. The incremental increase in the expectation and feeling. It does away with some of the wildly optimistic affirmations which dont sit right in peoples minds.
The concept is now more clear to me.
Is the voice elctronically distorted? It makes you sound very North Yorkshire.
Also more impotantly do you carry on doing the block real time until its at maximum OR do you step it up over a period of days. Maybe letting one step become more real before you ramp it up. Or do you just go as far a seems right emotionally.It seems to be the latter.

Yes, you are right...it sounds like Geoff Boycott at times :) You go as far with the Focus Block as feels right at that time without forcing yourself. Then you switch into another Focus Block. Since there seems to be a generally positive response so far, I'll see about putting together a video with multiple blocks running simultaneously

I've got a very similar excersise, which I feel works similar to your technique - in fact I feel it does the same thing as yours.
Here is an example with confidence, but you can apply it to any belief you want.

@Stingray- Hi Stingray, just wanted to ask you because this is a bit of a grey area for me. What do you of the effectiveness of using "what if's" or maybe's in the focus block statements? Sometimes they seem to provide relief although the statement is not true at that time. Do you think it's better to stick with truthful statements especially someone with not as much experience as yourself?.......

@Satori - I haven't tried What If's? within Focus Blocks so I'm just theorizing here. Focus Blocks/Wheels work on the technique of shoring-up beliefs i.e. a new belief that is within vibrational range of an existing one will add to it (shore it up) and become the new edge of the "default" belief. With a What If, it doesn't seem like a new belief you are trying out (to get the shoring effect to work) but rather...
@Satori - a distraction statement that is temporarily making you feel better, perhaps thereby getting you back into the Vortex. The question then becomes whether when you are out of the Vortex again, does the What If? become your new default belief setpoint or is it instead the last thing you genuinely believed to be true. I'm guessing the What If? wouldn't be enough. You could test this by rereading the Focus Block...
@Satori - ...when next out of the Vortex and seeing which of the statements feels true to you...though it's also a fine line between some What Ifs? and some Focus Blocks statements e.g. "What if there are some people in the world who can levitate at will?" vs "I've seen enough strange things in my life to believe that might be some people in the world who can levitate at will". The only sure way to see whether it works for you is to try it and see how you feel :)
@Satori I'm not Stingray...but I also found relief using "What if" or "maybe" statements in focus blocks before. They were good to use to get me into the vortex. However, IME, when I drifted into using them too much they did not have a long term effect on the belief or issue I was playing with, so I tend to avoid "accepting" them nowadays despite the relief.
@Stingray- Thank you for your reply. I'm not really writing "what ifs" on purpose. I can see now its when I not getting inspired thoughts coming to mind that I will tend to write statements that bend the truth a bit. These are probably mind based thoughts as they don't feel inspired. Maybe I should just switch to another FB if I cannot get inspired thought? Is this what you do? Thanks.
@Liam- Thank you for your comment. As I said to Stingray I think it's when I'm not getting inspired thoughts coming through that I tend to get a bit desperate to write something down and tend to write more mind-based hopeful thoughts. Do you have this issue sometimes and what do you do? Thank you.
@Satori - "Maybe I should just switch to another FB if I cannot get inspired thought?" - Yes, this is one of the primary reasons for using Focus Blocks instead of Focus Wheels. I found that I would have mental blocks where I just couldn't think of anything else to write for the Focus Wheel. But what I did notice was that leaving the Focus Wheel, living a bit of life, and then coming back later often led to obvious next vibrational statements. It's like a period of stability was...
@Satori - ...required at that vibrational level in order to integrate the change ("your vibration stays where you last left it") and then I could carry on up the scale. However, I found I couldn't let myself off the hook completely and write no statements when I felt blocked otherwise there would be no progress. So I committed to (at least) one statement every time I revisited a Focus Wheel. Now if you are stuck on that one statement, I would simply recommended holding yourself in a focused...
@Satori - ...condition on that Focus Block until you are inspired to that one statement. You do this by rereading the Block so far (or the previous Block) and then just maintaining the feeling that the Block gives you. Because every (at least) 17 seconds of pure thought leads to a combustion point where a further thought is created, it will often take less than a minute or two for the next step-up vibrational statement to inspire itself to you...it just depends how purely you can hold...
@Satori - ...yourself at the current best-feeling vibrational setpoint. If you still have consistent difficulty pulling out a better-feeling belief statement and need something more concrete to work with, there's a book that I had a brief look through once that seemed helpful in dealing with these sorts of ideas (of finding ways to talk yourself better about a subject): Mind-lines: Lines For Changing Minds
@Stingray- Thank you so much. These comments are so helpful. I'm going to copy these into my "Focus Blocks Troubleshooting Manual" :) What you say about holding the feeling state of the new belief to allow the next inspired thought to come through is very interesting. I actually don't do this, I'm usually just sort of looking for the thought and not feeling for it.....
@Stingray- Learning the FB has been an ongoing process for me but I'm starting to think it will always be a learning process for me as there are so many levels to it. Reviewing how I apply FB now and again is something im going to have to do. That book is something that might be useful for me. Thanks again:)
@Satori You probably know this but here is what I find useful myself. 1. Abraham say that "going general" will most likely get you on the wheel. And as you stay on the wheel by using a (a few) general statement(s) for about 17 seconds, another quite similar but a little bit more specific thought will arise. And so you stay on the wheel and eventually you will get more and more specific. So you will feel more and more relief
Two questions that I use to check if each and every statement comes from the heart (and not from a panicked state where I rush things to make things happen mentally) - First: Is this statement true? (Check if you feel weather it's true), Second: If true, do I like it better than my initial statement?
A few general statements from Abe seminars to get you on the wheel:
@Satori And also... this is very cool. Abraham say that the most general things are actually not statements. It's meditation. So you could find a general statement and hold it for 17 seconds, right? But what if your canned general statements aren't general enough? Then you go even more general by meditating for about 17 seconds or a minute or so. Next try to find a general statement. You will often find that general statements arise easier or your canned ones work now.
@Releaser99- Thank you very much for this valuable info. You obviously a great understanding of utilising FB's. The comments in this thread have been very helpful indeed. Now it's up to me to put it to good use! :)
@Satori - One other tip, which I've mentioned before on IQ but probably didn't give enough prominence to - and can't find it right now anyway - if you are having consistent trouble with being an Allower then it might be time to switch into becoming a Visionary for a while, perhaps even a few days. In practical terms, this means I sometimes just write vibrational requests (ME-1) if I don't feel inspired to use Focus Blocks. Our lives constantly alternate between Step 1 & Step 3 anyway.
@Stingray- Sounds like a great idea. I haven't used ME-1 in a while. So this would be a great way to start again. Im just feeling a bit privelaged right now to have easy access to such powerful information.
