I saw a vision of the yin-yang. It was swirling inward and formed a vortex that unified opposites.

I see all around me in the west, signs of interest, study, and practice of things from the East. Like yoga, mantra, mala beads, zen... I am interested too.

Meanwhile, the east is being evangelized and comerrcialized.

The word "global" comes to mind.

Are we seeing steps toward the concrescence? When all is one? The omega point?

Please share your comments and experiences regarding the melding of these or other opposites.

Shine on, fellow travelers.

I think your right all2g.

I believe that things like satelite TV and the internet are bringing people into close contact with other cultures, belief systems, fashions, styles and ideas.

People are communicating more, there inter marrying more.there going into joint business ventures more. Its bringing people intellectually and physically together.

Its a good thing and will harmonise and integrate the world to a greater extent. Dictators will become more and more hard pressed to keep a lid on their kingdoms.

People know more now, theyve got information access to how the other half of the world lives.More than that there are millions of people who quite sub consciously are developing tastes and ideas that they wouldnt have done 30 years ago.

However i believe human nature will stop us from throwing away our individuality altogether.

We can become ONE and become more individual at the same time.Growing in a sense of oneness and growing in our own individuality.

The world is being 'globalized'. I see it first hand as my life is equally divided among three continents. The good thing about this is what you mention in your vision of the yin/yang. Globalization allows for the going beyond the local limitations imposed through say culture/religion to openness and adjustment to new ideas and concepts. This opening of possibilities allows for more choices and thus, hopefully, finding the melding point of becoming whole.

I see your vision as a personal message. The melding of the male/female aspects as well as the left/right brain hemispheres.

Thank you, namaste

eventually all truth will be know.

  1. Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.

For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]"

Jesus said, "Don't lie, and don't do what you hate, because all things are disclosed before heaven. After all, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and there is nothing covered up that will remain undisclosed."

Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is.

Congratulations to the one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste death."

TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies 5 Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart? 10 And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp 15 Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee? 20

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Yin/Yang Principle

One look at the magnificent coat of a Tiger reveals much as the black stripes that are overlaid against the backdrop of orange/rust coloring suggests a certain duality. In nature when there is such a significant contrast, this will often indicate a duplicity of meaning and/or purpose.

For the Tiger, this contrasting of patterns and colors suggests the Yin/Yang principle. Yin/Yang is the concept that all things in life are balanced via opposites and these opposites are equal halves of the whole. Female/Male, white/black, light/dark, are all examples of this polarity that is the basic foundation of this concept. Therefore, when looking at the Tiger Totem and its beautiful coat of mixed patterns and colors, it becomes evident that this is a creature being that possesses the balance of energies we may understand best as Yin/Yang.
