I am presently watching "Ben-Hur" again, and in the book and movie, the question of revenge is studied. Is revenge EVER justified? Ever? Peace, Jai |

In the Abraham-Hicks material I found a logical answer in that people always do what they believe will make them feel better. So it seems that revenge is an immature response because ultimately it isnt satisfying to cause pain. But that realization takes time by trial and error to learn. |
Leave the revenge to Lord, or proper authority, so, you can keep your peace. Revenge is supposed to be "Justice", but put in your hand will take your peace which creates injustice. Leave the matter to higher power to do justice, and if the criminal is truly sorry and is in a state of attrition, then, also forgive. Blessed are those who have Compassion. Namaste-peace P.S.(The world is suffering from lack of Compassion. If you want to heal it then give it your compassion. "We are here to light a candle and not to curse the darkness.") Good answer!
