When is it time to accept what is? In other words, you have made your bid to the Universe. The Universe is taking its time (I really prefer "God" here), but, yet, nothing has manifested yet. So, where do you draw the line?

I know you are supposed to not think about what we have asked for, but we are human, and we do think about what we want and need.

Here is a favorite quote of mine from The Big Book:

"And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation, some fact of my life- unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes."

What do you think? What is the place of acceptance?

Blessings,

Jaianniah

today did you accept me Jaianniah or did you tell me i was wrong? is that acceptance and are you truthfull? truth is hard to accept is it not. but if you do not want to hear or want to cut your self from me, i can stay silent and close the door, it is your choice and you are responsible of it.

The essence of your question is time a recent A-H daily quote

The buffer of time gives you the opportunity to get it right before it manifests, to take pleasure from the vision and from the molding it into place... Can you imagine if everything was manifesting instantly? You would manifest this, and then you would manifest it away. And then you'd manifest that, and then... It would be a difficult thing if you were instantly manifesting every whim or every misaligned thought. It's so much better that you have this buffer of time where you can feel it into perfection before it manifests into your experience.

There in lies the acceptance.

@ursixx Thank you , I didn't know the Moses story , but looked it up and learned something else that I asked in IQ before about the power of words . "Words have authority and power behind them and God was attempting to raise Moses’ expectation level and spiritual awareness. "
