can you feel what other person feels? for example you are sitting and talking in front of someone that is drunk and you start to feel drunk but you did not drink. did anyone experience something like that? this is only an example it could be some other feelings also.

When somebody is telling me about their pain, I can often feel it. I pick up accents very quickly also. When I am with children, I am carefree and childlike and playfull.

Yes, I am very empathic. For this reason I love to travel, because as soon as I begin meeting people native to the area, I very quickly pick up language, customs, body language and so forth. I really get to experience life almost fully wherever I am! If I am with someone happy, or someone unhappy, I will soon pick up on it. If I am visiting someone in a hospital, I have to guard myself carefully so that I don't actually pick up on the pain and fear of others. I will often know what is bothering someone long before they confide in me. So in a word....yes! It is very possible.
