I think the key word you may be looking for here is "Repetition." Conscious repetition is even better.

The subconscious mind is like the hard drive in your computer. Whatever information you store in it, whatever information matches the program you want to run is what you will receive in return.

Whatever bad or good habits you've gained over the years has been from day in and day out repetitive actions or thoughts.

So if you have been wanting to change some negative habits or thought patterns into more positive daily choices of thought and action, you need to be repetitive in saying and thinking what it is you want and desire to happen in your life on a day to day basis.

You could try using positive self talk as much as you can throughout the day and try to be conscious in the very moment that is the Now.

Affirmations are an easy way to start with positive self talk. There are plenty of positive affirmations on the internet to choose from. You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay is a book that I have found to be very beneficial regarding affirmations. You can also start becoming conscious of the negative self talk you may say everyday and changing some words around to make it a positive statement.

EFT or FasterEFT are also helpful in imprinting positive messages into you subconscious. Plenty of EFT videos on Youtube.

You could also try some guided meditation or self hypnosis. You could even record you own voice with your own self hypnosis script or positive affirmation and play it back before you go to sleep or whenever you feel in a relaxed state. Youtube has quite a few different videos for everything I mentioned in this paragraph.

Really good comment. I'd also suggest taking a peek at BSFF. EFT and BSFF can definitely help you jump start the process, and also give you a clean slate (emotionally or otherwise) while you are at it ;-).

You are talking about telling your right brain to do something. This is a task you set your right brain to by telling it to handle something for you then forget about it trusting it will perform this task for you.

Here is an example: you cannot remember the name of that store you used to go out to when you were little, you try and try to remember but you just can't. You get frustrated and and angry the more you try the more angry you get because the memory just isn't there it is gone! Finely after a long time of this struggle for hours you just say I don't care anymore fine I can't remember it, I give up!!! You change what you are doing and forget about it, ahh but this is when your right brain says okay now it's my turn! you are doing something totally different and not even thinking about it and all of a sudden you shout at your girlfriend "Steven's!"

She is in a state of shock now wondering how you did this when before you had no idea and now it is so clear you remember.

The easier way is to tell your bright brain to begin with here handle this for me, find this name. Of course the right brain can do so much more than just finding names for you but what that is up to you to decide.

Yes it is something I learned through the S.O.S. the right brain handles a lot and is very much what is usually called the subconscious because it works in the background many times. It is like setting a program up to work for you.

I tried that technique before for overcoming anxiety and performance problems as a musician. I'd tell my mind, "find me situations where I succeeded" and It got better and better every time!! It definitely works!

From the Master Key System, Chapter 3:

"22. I have already told you what the result of this impression will be. It is the method in which you are now interested. You have already learned that the subconscious is intelligent and that it is creative, and responsive to the will of the conscious mind. What, then, is the most natural way of making the desired impression? Mentally concentrate on the object of your desire; when you are concentrating you are impressing the subconscious."

"23. This is not the only way, but it is a simple and effective way, and the most direct way, and consequently the way in which the best results are secured. It is the method which is producing such extraordinary results that many think that miracles are being accomplished."

"24. It is the method by which every great inventor, every great financier, every great statesman has been enabled to convert the subtle and invisible force of desire, faith and confidence into actual, tangible, concrete facts in the objective world."

Hello cigano, as kriegerd reminds us ... in chapter 3 of the master key system is described a simple and effective way of doing it; "mentally concentrate on the object of your desire, when you are concentrating you are impressing the subconscious."

A good practical example is learning how to drive a car, first we have to consciously think to start the engine, then to press the clutch with the left foot, then to put it in first gear etc. ... after a while "we get used to it", it becomes an automatic reflex until we end up speeding along the road with the physical control part on "automatic pilot" so to speak and the mental calm and alert directing the operations.

We can also use this method to invent new ideas, objects, etc ... mentally concentrate on the desired object or idea, imagine it already in use and functioning in reality, when concentrating on this image we are impressing it on the mind using our imagination. This method enables us to convert the subtle forces of desire, faith and confidence into actual concrete objects in the real world.

To imprint something on the subconscious mind requires practice, practice, practice and the desired result will eventually really appear as if by magic ... have fun.
