I think it is possible to use Abraham Hicks processes, law of attracton knowledge, etc, to manipulate conditions around you that would normally determine you to uncover a wrong core belief. But you no longer feel the pain because you are molding the bad feeling into a good feeling.

Example: if someone has very poor social skills due to wrong core beliefs, ex: people don't like me, I don't measure up, I am not valuable.

I think this core beliefs lead to always getting a bad response from new people.

By writing positive aspects you are positively manipulating people into treating you well even though they wouldn't normally do that because you don't really believe you deserve the good treatement, your vibration regarding the subject is telling people that something is fishy about you... (This core beliefs are also shown in your attitude and body language, even if you are not probably aware of them)

The pain you feel each time people treat you suspicious due to this core beliefs would cause you to eventually uncover your core beliefs.

Abraham Hicks also says "A belief is just a thought you keep thinking" but from my experience it doesn't seem possible to override the very deep wrong core beliefs from childhood without going back feeling the pain and discovering that your conclusion from some circumstances was wrong or that your parents had this wrong core beliefs that they passed onto you. Is it possible that all this LOA knowledge can delay your healing? I would love to know your thoughts about this.

Nope-- quite the opposite.

I don't think that is what Abraham's LOA teaches or @Stingray and the latest science research agrees when it comes to things like PTSD or healing from childhood abuse. From the other thread - I agree, Brook needs to read books. Knowledge is power. I think she was crying for help and also looking for LOA type answer. Maybe this video & book recommendation may help you.

Help to you being you seem to be more on the spiritual/religious side.

There is also a poem called "Yesterday I cried" ... It's ok even therapeutic to cry. Just don't stay there.

i agree. if the core belief is very deep rooted then affirmations /meditations etc. will probably work very slow because the momentum of the mind is too strong and too much on the unconscious level. in this case it is better to acknowledge the way you feel, accept it, love yourself in that moment as you are (sad, depressed etc.) and from there move naturally up the emotional scale. i mean - instead of push yourself up the scale with affirmations just let it happen naturally. because the momentum will not allow it. the mind will not believe it. Unless you made the new belief true to yourself, and from that moment you live it, you are it. but even then you have to recognize the lag of time, meaning that even if you changed from the inside, the outer universe will take time to change to. actually this fact takes people down and makes them keep up with the old momentum.

from my experience loving myself in all forms of feelings and all stages resolved and created faster transformation then to create a new belief and try to live it. i tried them both and both worked. but the former was more successful and faster. also meditation of breathing with no thoughts is much much better then affirmations because it is naturaly takes you to a place of peace/new vibration without effort at all.

from what your'e manifesting you can tell what is in your subconscious/thoughts. so if you try one way and it doesn't work, try the other way. hope it help.
