I admire the sky in winter. The subtle colors in the broad grey sky of morning. I plan to photograph it. I talk about painting it. Two days later, I open a magazine and see the paintings I could have produced. Literally the same landscape elements, colors, and feeling. This scenario occurs frequently and for various subjects. At first I was in awe. Then frustrated. Lately I am learning to remain calm when it occurs. I want to paint my own darn paintings! (etc) Thank you for your perspective. ._. |

I understand completely what you are saying, I experience similar coincidences. I don't think there are other people manifesting your desires. All that is happening is because you are giving your attention to the winter sky, you are attracting winter sky related things into your life like the paintings you saw in the magazine. Don't be frustrated though, just because someone else has created similar paintings to the ones you were going to make doesn't mean you can't still paint them :) Thank you. Amazing place we live in huh?

you (we) did paint that painting (the other part of us did) but our separate minded ego/humanness sees it differently. it is only your ego that is upset and we all should be joyous that it was created with our mind and whomever's hands. my eyes would love to see it but i bet the picture in my head is not too far off. |

I am new to studying this, but here is what I came up with so far. The Bible says that there is nothing new under the sun, but there are new inventions or ideas every day. So I decided that God already thought of everything, we just have to reach out and grab the ideas, thought from God's mind/presence. However, this saying really resonated with me, so I applied it here: As above so below, as below so above, as within so without, as without so within. Therefore, what is out there for us to reach out and grab, is also within us to reach in and grab, we just have to connect with the ideas. Also if this is true, our thoughts are within us, and also without us, therefore without other people, therefore within other people, we just have to tune-in to it. This is how people come up with the same idea, it's all already out there, in there, to tune-in to. gives me chills... to true.

Every idea is unique, but every unique idea already exist out there somewhere in the universe, even if you have not had the opportunity to see it first! Keep in mind that everything we can think of have already exist in the universe! We are one consciousness, so all ideas are coming from the one universal mind, and everyone has access to the same information, so it not unique to one person alone! that's amazing. so the order of my day is humility.

Good question: My daugher posed the same question to me when she was 11. I was sitting in the garden late one summer evening and the sky was just amazing. I was deep in thought when my daughter came up behind me and spoke the words to the letter of exactly what description was going through my head. The description, the observation, the attention to detail...............I was gobsmacked. She then posed the question " When does your reality become my reality" In other words ......when do I see/feel/hear exactly what you see. I was stuck for words and honestly told her that I did not know but that I would try to find out. I sent my question off to Deepac Chopra..........but never got a reply. So its still a question that hangs around me unanswered. I too would love some help/insight on question poses? Wow what an experience. My daughter is up in my head too- and almost a teen....

I have 4 daughters and know exactly what @Susan and @all2gethernow are saying! I feel that the veil amongst us is thinner now than it used to be
